I used to exclusively go to Total Wine in Claymont for their excellent beer selection and price, but Krestons has quickly become my new favorite. They have a lot more local brews than Total Wine, including 2SP Delco Lager and ASAP, which Ive been bugging the folks at Total Wine to stock for ages to no avail. The staff at Krestons are also very friendly and accommodating. They will make special orders upon request and take their time answering your specific questions. Total Wine on the other hand has a much more corporate feel and the staff would rather just get on with their day then talk to customers.

Very bad customer service. Be careful of placing an order online with this business. We ordered items online complete with credit card info and received an email confirmation that the order was received. When we went to pick the order up, we were told the website is not up to date. There was no apology for not having contacted us about their inability to fulfill the order.

Completely agree with the previous criticism about iffy customer service: you have to find someone for a LOT of the prices, and some sure act like they dont want you to. Still, Mr James was kind and knowledgeable, and he saved the day. Fantastic craft beer selection and really good sale prices throughout. Think Ive found my new neighborhood beer store!

Pretty good selection of beer, liquor and wine at very reasonable prices. Not in the best area, so some of the customers can be a little gruff. If you are buying wine, be sure to sign up for the free Kreston Card - it will really save you!

Great selection of wine, beer, and spirits at reasonable prices. A family-owned insitution, once the biggest in town, its still the best liquor store in Wilmington, even though the large chain store thats opened in the area is bigger.

The prices are "Amazing"!!! I drive from out of town for the prices, also its no taxes and its right off of I-95. Its too many plus. In addition the staff is definitely helpful and funny at times.
