Do not buy from LazyBoy! They are not the company they once were. I purchased a "top of the line" recliner with motorized functioning in November of 2014 & upon pick up I realized my chair was not as impressive as the model on the show room floor. The reclining function does not extend fully so your legs dangle Downwards, thus defeating the purpose of a recliner. After getting the chair home I noticed the reclining was not working right & also the side of the chair disconnected from the chair as well. So we called customer service & had a technician come out to look at the problem. He quickly downplayed my concern over the chair functioning properly but he did somewhat fix the broken part of the chajr. Now 2 years later the side of the chair is broken again & the cushion is damaged on that side from the work done on the chajr initially which is causing a hazard to my young kids that have bumped into the hard corner exposed from the chair. So I went into the store, Christians, DE location, & they helped provide me with an 800 # to call for the cushion issue & another issue. Dont buy the electronic motor function option! The store told me that is covered under a 5 year warranty purchased additionally through a 3rd party. The motor functions are not working so now the chajr is not reclining so I have to call in two places. My furst call was to lazy boy & upon calling they told me the info I was told was incorrect & the cushion is not covered under the standard 3 year warranty but the electronics are only covered for 1 year. So now I paid over $1,400 for a chair that is an eye sore, dangerous for the kids, & doesnt do what it was intended to do, which is recline. Good luck getting any support after you pay for the furniture. This is no longer a great American company with quality products. The $350 recliner i bought at Macys is still working great & more comfortable then this lazy boy chair. I really just thought the purchase of additional warranties would have meant someting or that lazy boy would stand behind their product. My grandfather purchased a recliner at the same time & they have had a terrible experience as well. It was motorized & included massage options. They all broke after barely being used & a year after purchasing they had to get rid of it & will never buy a lazy boy product again. I never write reviews or complaints but I just hope that this helps at least one person avoid going down the lazy boy path of customer dissatisfaction. Also picking up your chair is a mess, I dont think i even got the chair I picked out but thats another story. My chair was unwrapped & dust & debris laid on it when I came into pick it up. Im pretty sure they gave me a left over chair & i guess I was the sucker that didnt see it coming. DONT BUY FROM LAZY BOY UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY TOO MUCH & GET BACK EVEN LESS!!

Was very pleased with the sales staff at the Christiana store, however, I am highly dissatisfied with the Urbana Oval Cocktail table and 2 end tables purchased in August 2016. The wood veneer tables are very attractive but of extremely poor quality. After a few months the veneer began showing scratches from normal daily usage. The glass inserts do not fit properly which allows dust and particles to accumulate shortly after cleaning. The glass inserts have fallen through the wood during cleaning on several occasions which is a safety hazard. Glass also appears smudged no matter how many times it is cleaned. I purchased the Ultrashield Wood protection plan and submitted a claim. A repairman reviewed the damages and agreed that my claims were valid but Ultrashield denied my claim stating the damages were normal wear and tear and not covered under my warranty. However reviewing my warranty the damages are valid under the "What is Covered section. I would urge anyone considering purchasing anything from the Urbana collection to reconsider. Laz-zboy should also consider discontinuing selling this inferior product or at least warn customers these pieces are purely decorative and not practical for daily use. Also purchasing the Ultrashield Wood Protection plan is of no value at all! Total waste of money on both the furniture and so called protection plan!

This was long overdue but I needed to write this review! DO NOT BUY from Lazy Boy! If you still choose to ignore my advice and decide to buy a piece of furniture then do not add the protection plan, since it is worthles. I bought a leather couch back on November 2011 and added the protection plan. Three months later the leather started to fade and crack. It looks like the color was bleaching. I reported to Lazy Boy and also the Protection Plan Company and submitted a claim. They concluded this was wear and tear and decided not to replace or even repair the couch. I explained to them that it was unnaceptable for couch that it was brand new leather to wear off in this manner in less than 3 months. This went on for months with no results. The protection not Lazy Boy did anything to repair the couch. I got stuck with a couch of poor quality. What was also more upsetting was the horrible customer service I received. This went on for 6 months with no one following up or helping resolve my issue. I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT ANYTHING AGAIN FROM LAZY BOY AND WILL NEVER DO SO AFTER MY EXPERIENCE!

When I moved to the area, I needed to furnish my new place. I had la-z-boy furniture in my family room that was 7 years old and looked pretty new still. In the show room, I was impressed by the furniture and the staff. They had many new styles and we wanted something that would last but still be somewhat modern looking and comfortable. The employees said hello and told us to ask if we had questions. We were told theyre paid salary not on commission so they arent pushy. We had been to Ashley furniture and the guy followed my kids and I around like a stalker ex boyfriend. It made the experience seem like a hassle. We were told a designer was available for no extra charge and theyd come out to our house, measure and make suggestions and a computer schematic of the room and furniture. We agreed and were undecided on which set we wanted. Whitney came out and we melded our ideas and came up with my favorite room in the house! Furniture was a bit pricey but we knew that going in and we had the current sale going on. You get what you pay for.

The quality of furniture at this place is honestly really good and really expensive. Not crazy expensive like some "fancy designer" places but not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. I guess you get what you pay for because the quality and optional warranty on items make for peace of mind for highly used rooms. Not sure if the value is there to be honest when comparing to other places. Staff at this store are very helpful and approach you almost immediately, which is good or bad depending upon how you feel about that. They are not on commission though so not pressured sales tactics. Probably some of the most comfortable furniture out there.
