Petco in Dover, De needs to train more than one employee to take care of the fish dept. TWO days now these fish have been dead and dying. We found today 5 dead female bettas, 2 dead male bettas. Bettas in stagnant water. When brought to the attention the cashier said " oh the guy who does the water changes has been off a few days." So then they suffer and die and more will go with them as the ammonia and decay levels rise.... Im very sad. And disappointed. Derick on the other hand. Loves his job, very helpful. And is the one who changes the water. We like Derick. Get it together. Fish suffer too.

Everytime I go theres no one at the cash register, theyre always in the back chatting until a customer asks them to be checked out. I scheduled an appointment for grooming for my dog and when we went to drop him off the same woman we spoke to to schedule the appointment didnt know we had an appointment because she didnt write it down and that she could try and fit us in, wouldnt have had to if you scheduled the appointment. Said no and walked out.

I have had nothing but excellent customer severs from them since they opened but today they refused to groom my dog because of a scab on his back. Its 97 degrees outside and I just beyond upset. They were getting my money every 2 weeks for his food and were grooming him every few months. Its a sham our relationship had to end this way.

Went to petco on Tuesday to get cat food and litter was more expensive than petsmart would not price match went and bought at petsmart. Did come back to buy fish took 20 minutes to get help even with the cashier standing there doing nothing but looking at us.

Fish area needs work, dead fish in tanks and on floor every time I go. Alittle pricey on things but they do have an open cookie bar. Which fyi, is great!
