I went to this store today for an herbal supplement. I couldnt find what I was looking for and a man who worked there came over and helped me. He was extremely pleasant and found my item right away. I asked him how much they were per bottle and he said $2.85. This seemed about right since the bottles are tiny, so I took two. I was surprised to see them ring up as almost $6.00 once I was checking out. I told the cashier that the guy who helped me locate them said they were $2.85/apiece. He checked and said they would be if they were on sale but theyre not. He offered me a discount which wouldve taken less than a dollar apiece off each bottle. He was not being a jerk, it was obvious that this was all he was allowed to do. I asked who the employee giving out incorrect prices was and was informed, "Oh, hes the owner." I dont know his name but he was a tall, older guy with white hair and a beard. He came over and I asked him about the price he gave me. He said, "Oh no, those are $6.00." I said, "Ok, but you just told me they were two something apiece." At which point he said, "Oh, well sometimes I say stuff. If you dont want them, dont buy them." in an extremely rude and disrespectful tone of voice. I ended up buying one since I needed it for my child but I wont be shopping there again, not unless someone else buys the store. The employees have always been nice and I actually feel bad for them now, I can only imagine what they go through on a daily basis working with someone like that. Ive spent hundreds of dollars there in the past two months too. I am shocked and appalled at what transpired today.

Well lets first start with an overpriced small selection this store does not have much variety and as soon as you find something that you like they stop carrying it and if you ask for it to be reordered your told you have to buy a case but can have 10%off which is nothing.i have been shopping here for awhile as its most convenient for me to come here to purchase whats needed for a family member with health issues but the lack of customer service skills is appalling not only from some of the staff but especially the owner who acts like she could care less about her customer unless your one of the well to do.not all staff members are like this though but the majority including the older man that works there they seem to act like customer needing help in here with service is intrusion of their time and not to mention lack of supplies and supplements knowledge.how can you run a supplement store like this. Time for a new staff and owners cause these people are in the wrong business.

I have have been in this store several times and no more, the owner is indifferent, ignores me and rude everytime, I ask a question or need help and the same goes for more than 1 employee that I have met.... I sense and urban lack of care, indifference and respect for the customer..... Selection is poor, out of date, although prices are normal anyway, it seems for health foods. They cater to that working class thats not too picky it seems... There are better newer coops to be found with better selections of food and goods. If you can travel a few times a month, Great Barrington, Massachusetts has much netter enviroment, coops and stores.

Its a nice shop with a good selection of healthy products and locally hard to find organic and alternative health items. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Prices tend to be a bit high, and while that prevents me from shopping there regularly, it is understandable with the types of products and volume they likely sell. I just wish they had more expanded hours.
