The gentlemen in the Service Department @ Stamford Volvo were simply amazing when dealing with an engine problem I was experiencing in my S60. The car was new in 2015 when I began to burn through oil at an alarming rate. After repeated tests and work, they determined the rings in several pistons were not aligned correctly. My wife and I have had several Volvos over the years and typically I drive them for ~200K miles while commuting to New Jersey, quite simply, we love them. My concern with this car was longevity of an engine that was not correctly assembled initially. I felt there were 3 solutions: leave it as is and warranty the engine for 200k; tear the engine apart to fix and then start a new warranty from the time of reassembly; lastly, put a new engine in the car. The Service Team understood and agreed, they worked diligently on my behalf and the solution was a new engine and a lifetime warranty. This was beyond my expectations. The car has not burned oil since, is getting significantly better gas mileage and warms up considerably faster. Service Manager Jerry Nyarady, and Service Specialists Chris Lucas, Mark Taksel and most especially Paul Zulkeski are a Team to truly be proud of. They are an incredible asset to the dealership and to Volvo as well. If possible, please pass this along to whomever may be able to give these gentlemen some positive feedback from Corporate. If it would be more effective, I am willing to contact and write the appropriate people to further this along. Took my car here to be serviced. The man behind the counter has clearly never heard the word "customer" before. After asking when I could pick up my car he informed me that I was 1 of 40 appointments and that he was Mr. "Reality Check". After I taken aback because that did not match what I was told over the phone (in terms of the car maybe not even getting looked at today!) he told me "dont get so upset." When I called later (b/c no one called me to say ANYTHING--dropped the car off at 9:30 and called at 3:15) I was told the car was not going to be ready and I told him I thought he was rude this morning and I thought he owed me an apology. Basically, he could have apologized to a CUSTOMER but instead told me to speak to his manager and finally....from this 50 year old service person (he told me his age in one of his rants!)...he said, "my morning was fine until I had to speak to you!" --and then off to the managers voicemail he sent me. What a joke!!! I would give them one star, but in past Ive had better service. My advice...can the man with the total lack of customer service skills OR change your own hold motto from "we are here to listen and earn your business." I think not!

Extremely pleased with my experience at Stamford Volvo – a true first-class dealership. I was referred to Stamford Volvo from family who had nothing but great things to say about their sales staff. I did not have an immediate need for a car, so they we patient with me throughout the process and helped me find the perfect ride. Their team was knowledgeable about all of the specs of the cars we were interested in and very easy to work with after we made our decision and were finalizing the purchase (easy negotiation, very fair price & helpful with the financing). Kevin did an excellent job pricing my car and finding me the features and color that I wanted in a timely matter. He was very good at communicating with me. He really made it painless. He was ALSO HONEST. With my last vehicle the dealership and salesperson at another place sold me a bill of goods and I was not happy with price I paid for the features. When I found out I could put less money down and a Volvo and also pay a little more per month this was a no brainer. Also, when I initially went in to the dealership to get prices and look at cars. Kevin was great answering my initial questions.

I cant say enough good things about my experience in working with this dealership and the Riley family. Due to an accident which totaled our car, we found ourselves needing a car that we hadnt planned for, and they couldnt have been better to work with! Furthermore, their service department has been equally great to work with on our other Volvo. Having purchased our other Volvo from a different dealership, who then refused to work with us when we started experiencing issues within the first month of owning the car, I will only deal with Volvo of Stamford going forward!

Extremely disappointed with service received this past week on my 2003 XC70. Defective fuel pump improperly replaced, with not so much as an apology other than Paul saying "Im just the guy at the desk, not a mechanic". For the better part of a week, Im driving around in a car (with my children, no less), with a fuel leak, only to be told that I need to spend an additional $30 for a software upgrade so they can finish the job correctly and safely. I am extremely disappointed and angry. This was my first experience in Stamford - and it will be my last.

I recently bought a car from these folks and Im nothing but pleased. I admit that I did a lot of research on vehicles before I visited them, and I knew from their website what they had in stock. I was immediately helped (Sue is great) and I was test driving the car I ultimately bought within minutes of my arrival. I hate the usual price haggling that goes along with most car purchasing experiences I have had over the years, so I was very pleased with how quickly we were able to come to a great deal. Very pleased.

I recently leased a new S60 and could not be happier with my experience at Stamford Volvo! I was a bit indecisive at first but the staff was extremely patient and knowledgeable with any questions I had. When I picked up my new car I was given a complete rundown of all its features & how to change settings to my liking which I really appreciated (lets be honest...nobody reads car manuals!). Overall, this was the best car-buying experience Ive had and I highly recommend them to anyone considering a Volvo!

Extremely upset about my service this week. I took it in for an overpriced oil change (a local shop told me they charge 50% more than they should) and they charged me $4.95 for washer fluid but never filled it. When I called to tell them they said I must have hit a curb and broke the line. After spending over $1,200 for major repairs I question that they did what they said. I currently have my car in another shop looking it over. I will never come back here.

Great, quick and honest service,they were very professional. I have been to many car service places but never seen one like this one. So clean, neat place and people, especially I enjoy the waiting room. It has internet/computer, many new magazine, tv. etc all for my use while I wait for my car. Definitely I recommend this service department for anyone looking detailed attention and great advisors who take the time to listen to your car issues.
