Responding to stephanie st.preuves review, First of all everyone who works at Allure Bridal are BIG People Too. We are very sensitive when it comes to plus sizes and NO WAY would we ever say the word "fat" to any one. Stephanie is totally lying on her review about us at Allure Bridal. I personally fit a size 30, now do you really think Im going to call the kettle black. My mother always said "people who live in glass houses should not throw stones" "treat people , how you would want to be treated" If anything we would embrace her and let her know that larger sizes are more common today than a size 0. We offer a large selection of size 14 to 30 . But these sizes are in demand, maybe when she came in we were running low on her size. So Stephanie we do apologize if we did not have many selections to choose from in your size, but please come back and we will take good care of you in the future. (Life is too short) responding to Khrystyna Dudyan review : Allure Bridal Shop accommodated this bridal party with an after hours appointment. They were acting very sneaky & shady when they walked into the shop. They started grabbing $550.00 discontinued prom gowns to try on. When asked if they would spend $550.00 on their bridesmaid dress one of the bridesmaids said no, the little feisty bridesmaid started raising her voice and saying "you dont know that we would not spend $500.00 on our bridesmaid dress! They started slurring out in Ukrainian language between each other so we could not understand what they were saying about us. "very deceitful and underhanded women" They were on a mission. Then the situation escalated to yelling and swearing the "F" word many times by the little mean one. She started yelling she was going to call the police until the bride had to beg her to stop and please do not call the police. the little mean one upset the bride to the point that she just wanted to leave and the little one continued to carry on as she was leaving the store screaming out left and right with the "F" word. They had no intensions in buying anything from our store, they were only using us to try on different styles to order online. It is obvious that we figured out their game and they were very disappointed that they were caught and nipped it in the bud! "We go out of our way for true customers withy good intentions" In response to " Lisa Lopez " "Extremely rude and unprofessional. " We greet every customer with a "hello & how may I help you" Then we will ask details & features you would like your dress to have, color, preferred fabrics if any, formal or informal and a comfortable price range to stay with in. We are Very friendly & VERY professional with all our customers and give 110% if not more. As far as dingy (gloomy & dark) maybe the word is " ambiance " is more like it, Ms. Lopez might be more accustom to shopping in a brightly lite store like Wal-Mart or lighting like a cafeteria. The word she used "sketchy" ( dishonest or disreputable ) unconsciously, she probably was describing herself & her own intentions. We have been in the business for more than 20 years and have had thousands of satisfied customers and these FEW people listed below write a negative review about our shop. Just because theyre mad they got caught at what they set out to do ( de·ceit·ful intentions ) All the people listed here had a VERY BAD attitude when they walked through the door that day. I personally feel "treat people as you would like to be treated" " Good intensions = Good results " " a good attitude and a smile can change your whole day" We have over 4,000 square feet of designer gowns, I know we can find you the perfect dress!

I called to make an appointment to try on wedding dresses. The woman who picked up the phone was talking to a man in the background every time Id ask her a question. She had a negative answer in response to every question: 1) can I make an appointment next week? -no, were closed all next week 2) okay, Id like to make an appointment the following week. - talked to man in background, he was grumbling and she came back to the phone and said "what kind of dresses" I was a little surprised by this question since I drove by the previous day and saw tons of wedding dresses in their windows and just the mere fact that they are named Allure Bridal. I let her know - wedding dresses. She went back to talking to the man in the background and he said "no, I dont want to (inaudible). She came back to the phone and asked when my wedding is. I let her know next fall. To this she said hastily "well, we dont sell wedding dresses anymore, but if you find something on the rack, you can buy it at 50% off. She continued to ask what size I am and I let her know and she said "were out of that size" I had to hang up. There are not a ton of shops in this area, but I wont even be considering them. Totally unprofessional.

I love this shop! Doug and Rick, the owners, are wonderful! This shop has a wide array of bridal gown styles, sizes and designers. They even have a great selection of plus size bridal gowns to try on. I was surprised to find out that this store is named after Allure magazine, not the Allure bridal gown designer. So don’t be fooled by the name. There are various designers represented throughout the store. Doug is very patient and a NO pressure sales tactic kind of guy which I really appreciate as a stressed out bride! I can’t handle the pressure when shopping at these stores…..”order now, you’re running out of time”…….no!!! It’s too much!!! I never heard any of that from Rick or Doug! Doug was patient and Rick was supportive. And Stephanie, the seamstress, was very clear, honest and straightforward…..IF you decide and feel it’s necessary to do X it will cost X $. It’s a very practical, helpful, patient group! Make an appointment, try on a few dresses and I hope you’ll find the magical one with the help of Rick and Steve like I did! But definitely make an appointment to ensure you will get the attention you deserve! Good luck brides!

Do not waste your time, energy or money with this place, not worth the aggravation. The staff has no telephone etiquette and/or customer service training. I called with a very simple question - "In your store, what is the average cost for a prom dress? From lowest to highest?" The arrogant person on the other end of the phone literally chuckled and sarcastically said "hhmm, I have never been asked that. Its like asking a mechanic what the cost would be to fix your car. It depends, do you want a Volkswagen or Rolls-Royce?" I in turn replied, "I am beginning to see why your store has so many negative reviews." He chuckled again, mumbled something and hung up. A store should be able to provide a potential client with a price range. It is not a difficult question nor does it deserve such a rude reply. I understand material, design and beading all have an impact on cost. That is why I asked for a range. In short, Allure Bridal is rude, arrogant and has no regard for potential clients feelings. To treat me as if I were an idiot is and was not acceptable. Nobody deserves to be treated that way.
