Cashier and the short order cooks are as slow as watching paint dry. Seems like no one wants to wait on anyone. the same guy does all the work and everyone else just make themselves look busy so they dont have to help the guy. I get a 1/2 hour for lunch and I cant wait 10 minutes before some one takes my order.The cashier makes you wait another 5 minutes just to pay. People I work have stopped going there for lunch and soon I will also.,to bad because the food is good when you finally get it. you have a lot of money walking out the door because people cant wait 20 minutes for a hot sandwich or burrito.so if you get an hour for lunch you should be OK.

I LOVE this Shoprite. Came from Rhode Island for a visit with fam and they suggested this (hot bar) for lunch. The food was delicious - great fried chicken - and the prices were great. Its a Monday so we got half price salad bar. Two stars for the unprofessional, seemingly depressed, younger staff in the hot bar area. Especially the cashier. The employees at the actual hot bar were great. Dont hire silly kids who dont appreciate having work. We had a great day and they didnt ruin it; but it wouldve been nice to not have had to deal with that.

The Orange location has much less of a variety of flavors within particular brands of items. I noticed that length of the isles are shorter than the other locations, which means less shelf space. This will make me miss the West Haven location even more. Ill have to go out of my way to shop at the Hamden store.

This place is brand new.... Hot fresh food sushi made fresh... Even a burttio bar....thats right a BURTTIO BAR!!!!...they got it all.... Even fresh fast pre-cooked meals if you have to make dinner after a long work day.... All the top brands companies and small vendors... I shop no where else...

This shoprite has a grill station where they prepare Angus burgers steak and cheese sandwich breakfast items and wraps. I love the self service French coffee machine also there is a cashier so I dont have to wait in line with people buying a ton of groceries.

Fancier than older shop rites. Sells nuts wholesale like Whole foods. Has more selection, especially natural /healthy foods than normal Shop rites. Plus its clean and designed well. Would be 5 but they are new and have not figured out the little things yet.

The store is clean and convenient, however, the Deli is extraordinarily slow. So much so that I repeatedly see people walking away without deli meats. Ive never gotten away from the deli counter in under twenty minutes with just two people ahead of me

Love this store. Well maintained, the inside is beautiful, the lines move quick, the food is always fresh and stocked, everything is easy to find. The bottle return is fantastic given you can put all sorts of different things in the same receptacle.

Restooms are durty. Incapable and slow cashiers. I went to Mary and she answered with arrogance because I told her the price was wrong. So many carts outside, you have to watch where to park.
