As far as Im concerned, theres is literally nothing more awesome than a small local business, run by awesome local people. I admittedly go out of my way to support these places, but thing to note is that its not JUST because its a local business; its because the product is awesome, and makes me happy. Ill pay extra for happiness, because...its happiness. The Meat Market is one of my favorite places ever. Tiny litter market, small aisles, fresh food, and cuts of meat that are almost too good to be real. Its old school, personalized service that you can rarely find anywhere in this day and age. I mean, sure...Stop and Shop has steaks, and they might be a $1 cheaper; trust me when I tell you, theres a difference in quality thats worth way more than a dollar. Outside of the steaks, the deli in the back makes ridiculously amazing grinders, and the cabinet with the packages sides is like a freaking candy store for me. Heres what you do. Plan a meal around meat, go to the Meat Center, buy said meat, buy some sides, pick up some paper towels if you need them, then go home and make your stomach happy. Keep these places in business people, they are what makes our area awesome.

I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE! The owner, Kristie, is a Genius. I ALMOST regret going there the first time - because Ive been there pretty much every day since. She makes an Asian Chicken salad that is AMAZING. She creates delicious and original cuisine. This is not just a meat center. Of course, they do have meat. Theyre skinless, boneless chicken breast is always about $2.00 per pound. But its the prepared food that youll go insane over. My personal favorite is Eggplant Rolotini & Chicken Pot Pie. She also makes fantastic desserts. So - get to Watertown Meat Center at your earliest convenience. Youll never need to cook again!

Lousy not enough selection of red meat only 2 shoulder London boils no bnls chucks steaks they did have a good display of expensive cuts, rib eyes, strips, sirloin , not enough chuck meat , no bone in pork chops no pork shoulders no fresh veal or lamb, I remember when there was a great display of every thing but I guess times have changed I just hope it was because they were waiting on a truck to re-up and they will have a much wider selection in days to come, Bob Michaud former meat manager Finast/1st National/Edwards.

If you live near here, dont bother buying your meats at the supermarket anymore. Great prices & great quality from a local business - what more could you want? Favorites: homestyle bone-in pork ribs, NY strip, boneless, skinless chicken breast, storemade chicken sausage & the ground chuck. Also a great selection of single-serve sides for those on-the-go times.

This place is awesome for when I need to pick up something quick for lunch while Im at work. Great sandwiches, and a huge and eclectic selection of sides and salads. Also, the desserts are great. The chocolate peanut butter pie is an occasional indulgence that is totally worth it.

I started going to the Meat Center when Louie owned it years ago. I have never gotten a piece of meat or cheese or deli specialty that disappointed me. My dollar goes a lot further as well because quality food gets eaten not half eaten and tossed.

Love, love, love this place! Their sandwiches are delicious, fresh and very reasonably priced. Havent had a bad one yet. Whole family approves. Just tried the cannoli dip and WOW its good! Awesome place to go to for a tasty take home meal.

I go there for the cheap cheese they have pre packaged in 1lb bags. They have a great selection of meat and some made-in-store ready to cook meal selections. They also have a very limited selection of "grocery store" items

Their in-store roast beef is amazing, its always cooked to perfection!!! I wont buy lunch meat anywhere else, and there boneless skinless chicken breast is always fresh and the best price around!! This store is great!!!
