This is a nightmare company. These people have been lying to us, making fake appointments, and my wife had to wait for more than one hour in the heat for a technician to come after he called her and assured her that he is on its way. The guy never came and never called back (!!!). We called him three times, but he did not pick up the phone. The receptionist girl is rude, insolent and does not have a slightest idea what it means to be customer-oriented. She just wasted more of our time. Cant imagine a more unprofessional company than this one. You cannot rely on these people at all. I would have never trusted them with any repairs and any promises they make. I am glad we decided to buy a new appliance instead of using their services.

We were in town for only a day and needed a couple parts to fix our hosts old dishwasher. The staff couldnt have been nicer and when they understood that we didnt have time to wait for parts to be ordered, they insisted on finding the parts. Luckily, they keep boxes of parts from discarded machines and found what we needed, charging a very modest amount. When I tried to pay them for the time they spent searching, they refused, insisting on accepting only that very modest price for the used parts. There was no pretense here - only wonderfully motivated and friendly staff. Bravo!

How much is "honest" worth? About $400! Thats how much less DeMassa charged to fix my refrigerator than the first guys we triedt who told me the compressor was fried. "$700" for a new compressor. So I went to DeMassa looking for a reconditioned unit. Instead of selling me a frig, they asked what the other guys had done to diagnose the problem. Then told me they couldnt possibly have known the compressor was fried. They were right. Their service guy showed up in two (!!!) hours and had it fixed in 20 minutes. Bottom line DeMassa is AWESOME!

I should have listened to previous reviewers who called this the "most unprofessional company". They are, their technician was cranky as was the owner. Dont use them. Find someone else, anyone, and dont submit yourself to being treated rudely, dismissively and insulted. And they are not inexpensive although the owner insists they are. I was trying to go with a small, family owned business -- wont be going to this one ever again.

The owner, Ralph, is very sympathetic and helpful when trying to weed through the options of used appliance purchase or repairing. Its a great alternative and money saver to buying brand new!
