I called asking for an item which I had purchased a year earlier at another store. I was had a description of the item, but the associate was audibly aggravated that I did not have the SKU (I bought it a year ago, do you keep all your receipts?) Then she finally said she would ask a manager if they had the item. When she returned to the phone she said (with quite an attitude) that they had the item but it was made of paper mache not cardboard and that I needed to be more accurate with my description of the item or just provide a SKU number. Clearly this branch of Joanns does not care at all about helping customers to maintain customers. I called another store and they knew exactly what I was talking about, put it on hold and gave no attitude. If you want to keep customers (or get new ones) do not brush off people or act rudely towards customers. This store is a disgrace to Joann Fabrics everywhere. My money is talking and walking away from this store.

After sending a complaint about being shorted on yardages, the manager kindly called me to say dont hesitate to ask that the bolt be squared off before cutting. As a quilter, every 1/4 inch counts. Anyway, asking for a full yard seems to set the staff on edge.("aay shes going to force me to be accurate) And I have been to this store 3 or 4 times and each time there is a customer looking for something or asking a question that the staff have no idea what he/she is talking about. I actually got out of the cutting line to help one of their customers find what she was looking for. I feel bad for these customers. Most of the staff probably arent sewing enthusiasts and dont care. There is a guy working there who walks around with a sour puss on his face. He makes it painfully obvious that he is unhappy and the customers are just a stumbling block. Dude, if you hate your job so much--the door is not invisible!

I am spoiled on professional NYC fabric shops, so when I visited this JoAnn I was pleasantly surprised by their selection. Far from just rows of 50/50 quilters fabrics and people who have no idea what fusible interfacing is (my last JoAnn experience), this JoAnn actually has a moderate selection of utility fabrics, a decent selection of fibers to choose from, and a staff that is interested in helping. They also have an admirable selection of heavyweight and upholstery fabrics, and a section devoted to different interfacings, battings, foams, insulators, etc. They also have more professional tools than other JoAnn stores I have visited, such as a taylors ham that I was happy to pick up. So, If you are looking for materials for costumes, home furnishings, or clothing, fear not. Its still a chain fabric store, but you will find far more than quilting supplies here.

I went to joanns today to buy a item and I want to price match with hobbylobby. First the manager was so rude treat screamming at me in front of all busy line at the register everybody was looking at me. I told her that i was never been mistreated like this in any store. she dont let me use a coupon. At the end i just want to pay and get out and she keeps saying the same thing over and over. When i just keep telling her i just want to pay my item and get out. They need employees with better custumer service . I got out in tears. The ladies who work at the fabric department they are always nice.

I go here almost weekly to get my craft supplies. The people that work there are very friendly and always there to help if needed. My only complaint is that the cutting table is usually full of lines and takes a very long while to wait. On rare occasions its only 1-3 people. For the rest I love the store. In short, the pros: - Friendly - Most supplies are always in stock - Great assistance if needed Cons: - Waiting line for cutting takes too long if there are 3+ people - This Joann doesnt accept more than 1 coupon, any other Joann stores accepts multiple that I have.

The workers in the cutting department are always rude and act like they dont want to be there. I go there often to buy fabric and dread going in the store but its the closest store to me. Many times thered be 2 workers in the cutting area and when I was next with no other people in line the other cutter would leave and Id be waiting for over 15 minutes for my fabric to be cut and she saw me waiting!!! So rude!!!! I have said several times to the manager about my complaints and alls I get is a smile and "Im so sorry" but things never change.

What a big store!!!! I forgot how big it was, since I havent been there in over A YEAR. What a difference too! I was actually even able to find everything I needed easily. That never used to be the case. What a big change, it was clean and organized, and even though busy all the employees where friendly and helpful as much as possible. I am going to pass this on, because what a nice visit I had there on what looked like a real busy day.

We went to this Jo-Anns because it is the closest to our home. There were 15 people in line for the cutting table, w/ only 2 cutters working. When asked for help in locating a zipper none was offered. When the zipper location was found there were no zippers the size I needed. The check-out line was 20 people long. We were not asked if we found everything. Will no longer go to this location.

Terrible customer service. I dont know if its because im young and there old and there just mad about that but everytime i goto this store i get some kind of atitude and im sick of it. If you want good customer service and like joan fabrics as a company try the new location in bristol they have some very kind people that work there.

Really disappointed they couldnt let me in the store at 9:00 on the dot to buy a single spool of thread for time-critical project. Used to shop all my supplies there; definitely ordering what I can online in the future. Thanks for the bad attitude!

I agree with Chris. The store is good, but the cutting staff often have terrible attitudes. I have been going there for years. I just anticipate it and get over it now. Dont expect any help and youll be fine!

This store has a great selection of fabrics and raft supplies. By only problem is there never seems to be enough staffing, especially for sale days. If they hire more people theyll have happier customers.

We went to this Jo-Anns recently and I was very disappointed with the customer service. The employees were unhelpful and rude. I will not be going to location again.
