WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We hired Galaxy to do all the flooring in our new construction home. The tile was to be installed first and was done horribly. Nothing was square and the lines were off by a half an inch all over the room. When we called to complain, we were told the installer would come back out to look and once he did we were told “it’s not that bad”. I couldn’t get the sales guy to come see for himself, so my husband drove to the store with photos to show them. Their response at that point was “wow”. Next, the carpet. They didn’t carpet the landing to my family room that my builder and I both explicitly stated we wanted carpeted. They tried to tell us we told them NOT to carpet it. Why anyone would want a plywood landing when everything was carpeted is beyond me, and if they think I said that and as the “flooring professionals” they claim to be- didn’t question that- then that is a whole different problem. When I asked for them to send an installer back out to complete the job, the installer didn’t even show up until well after the 4 hour window I was given. All the time, frustration and missed hours of work dealing with this company wasn’t worth the small savings we got with their in-stock special. My advice- go with a GOOD company and save yourself the NIGHTMARE of dealing with Galaxy. I will NEVER give them another cent of my money, and will warn all my friends and family to do the same.

I was just looking up their phone number when I deceided to read the reviews, and Goe yes they are by far the greatest carpet store EVER! Since 2005 I have been going to Galaxy and Galaxy only for rugs and wall to wall carpet. I learned fast enough that they have the best prices. They are so affordable that I can change up my area rugs almost every 2 years.. Also, the quality is amazing. And if they dont look good in the room, I just bring them back. They never asked me why or maden a big deal abouot it.. (Since my son spilled cool aid on one) When I called they told me which cleaner to use to get it out and to bring it back. The selection is amazing.. I always find the right rug for me and my family. The staff is so helpful, I probably had them bring down 10 rugs, and nobody every complained. I know its a family owned business, but I felt like I was shopping at Saks or something. They really took their time to help me make the right decision. And they dont forget about their customers. Everyone time I went there they did something to show their appreciation. And honestly, nobody does that now a days. Everyone that I know shops at Galaxy, and its funny how many people know about them. Great prices, best selection, and friendliest staff. Plus.. the babies are soo cute. I love the commericals. Ok enough from me, you will probably discover it for yourself.

I just had carpet installed at my place and while the carpet came out good, other parts of the transaction I was not happy about. First of all I applied for their 0% special and was declined because she input my SS# wrong. I currently have 3 cards in my wallet from the bank they use for financing. Not a big deal, I didnt need the credit. Secondly they removed every door to install thge carpet and left them leaning against my wall. The doors damaged the paint on the wall. I called them about this and was basicically told to pound sand. "Its just a little touch up" he said to me. Well I asked if I spill paint on my new carpet "touching up" will they replace. Of course not. They made it seem like they did me a huge favor by getting the carpet installed 5 days after I selected in stock styles. So I now have to put doors back on and paint because I used Galaxy Carpet. I need the downstairs carpeted next week and told them that if they took care of me I would have them do that as well. Well I am going to look elsewhere for that job. I would recomend looking elsewhere for carpet.

I thought I was getting a good deal I was talked into the install with the impression we are professionals. They bent the tracks on my closet doors taken them off to carpet the place. I had to straighten them out for them to even work right again. Carpet is over priced and really not good quality. I can see lines where they made a seam in my bedroom. GO somewhere bigger is my advice to anyone. You wont pay much more if any, get better service, and hopefully have a better experience. The Italian guy who sold me the rug told me "We wont send Mexicans into your house like a home depot" The installers were Mexican or Spanish. Great salesman he will tell you what you want to hear but not deliver with the same standard.

Not long ago I had new carpeting installed in my home, it was affordable, and looked great. Sadly after about 4 weeks my carpet started to unravel (its a burber.) I tried to call and have this new carpeting replaced, the only response that I got was that it was MY fault, and they hung up on me. Still to this day the carpet looks crummy, Im always scared to vacume because I never know what part of the carpet is going to end up in my kenmore. Its too bad they wouldnt take responsibility for their shotty carpet.

I have used this business for multiple properties over the last ten years. I have never had an issue. They offer high quality at great prices. I love their remnants. My carpeting on my stairs is very resilient. Ibe had it 6 years with 2 kids and 2 dogs, and it still gets complimented. I will never shop elsewhere. Satisfied customer.

Went in recently looking for inexpensive options for our basement. They had a ton of options at really reasonable prices and very helpful staff who didnt seem to mind we were looking for something cheap. We will definitely be going back for any future carpet/rug needs.

Buyer beware... The lighting inside doesnt usually match whats in your home. Once you sign contract you have 3days or you are stuck and they have an unwritten 25% restocking fee. Make sure you get a large enough sample to compare inside your house
