We went here after our trip to the farmers market. We had been once a few years ago back at their old location and enjoyed it. However, this time the staff was a bit rude. We ordered a macchiato not realizing they didnt serve it how it is usually served in America and served it more traditionally. Which is fine, my mistake I didnt know. But when I asked about it the male staff member was nice to explain and I was fine with that, but the female staff member was rude about it. Saying that I didnt know what it was and that this isnt Starbucks and I shouldve ordered a latte. Well I havent been there in years and their menu just says macchiato so how to know it isnt served with steamed milk? The male staff member was happy to fix it and that was fine, but the woman didnt have to be rude. The coffee was decent, but not as good as other local places. I wont be back and I really wish I didnt tip before this occurred.

You can expect to receive a proper espresso drink here (AND house brew) Fuel has a loyal local following in Wooster and New Haven, from when they existed on chapel street. The new location houses the same great espresso, and friendly baristas that craft it. They no longer have a full kitchen- so usually only offer bites like bagels or muffins. Very Vegan friendly, and welcoming to pups! In the summer they have a little outside seating. Currently there are only 2 bar stools at their bar, so in the colder months it is really just a grab n go kind of place. If you do end up staying, they always have 2 of the most recent New York Times papers, and a good mix of eclectic, artistic music.

Small coffee shop, that is two minutes walking distance from the famous Frank Pepe pizzeria, offers excellent tasting coffee. One of the best in New Haven. Soy and almond milk can also be requested.

Try their yogurt. Best in New Haven. (Compared with Au Bon Pains, Koffees, Cosis, and Gourmet Heavens). Fuels is tasty, not too sweet, with crunchy granola, and both bananas and berries. Yum.

Cash only??? What year is this any way? Service was rude, coffee over priced and didnt even taste that good. Save your money, go elsewhere.

I had a great sandwich and a chi tea, both very good. Id go back just to talk to the girl, she was the most memorable.

Always have great product. New location is kind of cold and without atmosphere. Not a comfortable coffee shop.
