My server Andrew G was amazing. He told me that I was dressed nicely and that he has never seen someone with the kind of shoes I was wearing (they were green flip flops). He should get a raise for having such acute observational skills! As for the food, I ordered a plain bagel and then asked to put bacon and cheese on it. It was absolutely scrumptious! I recommend this to anyone. It would be smart if Whitney Donut™ to just put that on their menu! Hahaha! If I had to rate my experience here I would give it 10 donuts out of 10! It was absolutely fantastic.

By far the best coffee and donut place in the area. Nothing better than a French Vanilla with a choclate glaze donut for dipping. Coconut covered is also quite delicious! Service is excellent. Ok maybe you wait a bit longer in line than at dunkin, but at least its because the food is fresh and the people are friendly. Did I mention the tuna salad sanwhich is under $4 and delicious!?!?!

Whitney Donut is a Hamden treasure, and it sells my favorite donuts by a longshot. People rave about the other food, but I will never find out because Im too focused on the outstanding donuts. Fresh, delicious and surely unhealthy, like a donut should be. I cant understand how a certain chain donut shop can stay in business in Hamden.

Great place for donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The place looked clean and well maintained. I stopped by just before noon and the donuts tasted fresh and were very delicious. The blueberry cake donut was my favorite. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick breakfast and great donuts.

This place is more than a donut shop. They serve sandwiches, salads ect. The have a counter area reminiscent of and old 50s restaurant where you can sit down and eat. Will take photos next trip. The donuts and and pastries are so good. I think they are better than Neils. And there is a drive thru.

The staff is great and super friendly. The food is equally as good! Seriously one of my favorite place to go grab lunch in the afternoon. If youre hungry and looking for a solid meal give this place a look. The donuts are also pretty amazing. Definitely better then anything else in the area.

Cool place feels like a throwback to a simpler time. Theyve been around for a long time, and clearly they are doing it right. Soups and sandwiches Ive tried were quite tasty and actually tasted homemade. They get quite busy during lunch but order ahead theyll have it ready for you.

Fast, healthy lunch and breakfast. No table service, but a few small tables. Excellent quality. Awesome donuts, especially donut hole things! Small parking lot. Drive up line can be slow but food is made to order.

Doughnuts taste awfully similar to Dunkin Donuts, but the two we had were fresh. Chicken salad sandwich with rye was good. Chicken salad lacked a bit of flavor, but texture-wise no complaints.

Amazing donuts and the coffee and sandwiches arent half bad. The lines get long on the weekend, but move surprisingly quickly. Skip the Dunkin and head over here for coffee and a treat.
