I just visited the brand new store in Milford CT. I drove thru and ordered a soba chicken noodle salad with peanut sauce. Its the first thing on the menu. The person taking the order argued it didnt come with peanut sauce when it clearly says it on their menu. She was very rude and refused to give peanut sauce and insisted it comes with an orange miso( that sounds gross). After arguing that it clearly says it on the menu she refused. I finally said cant you just give me it instead. She said sure....any not just do that instead of arguing I dont know. I then ordered a smoothie and coffee. I noticed a .50 charge for the peanut sauce. She didnt mention its extra and it shouldnt be since its supposed to come with it. Clearly some shady thing is being done here. I cancelled my order and drove away. I checked online and the menu there says peanut sauce comes with that salad. I suggest Panera teach their employees to read the menu. Also even if you order a salad, you always should have the option to pick dressings. I dont know if its just that store or every location but they will not do well with that kind of customer service.

The first time I went, it was nice. The potato soup was very good. The second time, I was a little disappointed. I couldnt use my birthday rewards because it expired; however, when I used to get birthday rewards, they never expired. I could use it when I wanted. Next, the corn chowder soup and sandwich I ordered was just okay, nothing special. The kids turkey sandwich had thick bread and no mayo or anything, just turkey and cheese. It was too dry for my son. He didnt eat it. (I didnt complain because someone else paid for lunch.) Lastly, I ordered a kitchen sink cookie, which was delicious. I also ordered the new "triple chocolate" cookie, which replaced my favorite chocolate duet that they got rid of. The cookie was RAW in the middle. Raw dough! I had already left by the time I tried it. I ended up having to microwave it the next day so it wouldnt go to waste. PLUS, they still dont have the do-it-yourself kiosks. They have some coming up to do.

I enjoy Panera food a lot! However, they seemed to be very rushy and carefree with everything here. I was the only one in line and it felt like they just wanted to get rid of me. I asked for bread with my soup and she said there wasnt anymore... It was 2 hours before closing. Im sure there should have been some bread available. Some people dont care about good presentation of staff or friendliness, and just want there food. But I personally feel as though that stuff counts. If ya dont like your job, then dont work there thats all.

This is the newest and the best of the Paneras in the New Haven area. The food is well prepared, neatly presented, and ready quickly. The staff is efficient and friendly. The baked goods are attractively displayed. The restaurant is nicely laid out with warm, soft furnishings. Even when it is busy, it is quiet enough to hear the music. It is a place where you want to sit to enjoy your meal. It is very clean. Convenient to shopping on the Boston Post Road, across from Whole Foods.

Got served cold soup. When I went to return it the manager on duty ( Vanessa) didnt apologize for the soup being cold, didnt offer me anything else off the menu, didnt go look into the reason as to WHY the soup is even cold to begin with. She told me she could temp it ( does that mean microwave) and give it back. REALLY?! I asked for a refund of my meal. Why is soup being left out or left off the heat ?! I wont be back to this location again.

Ive consistently had issues here, from forgotten order parts or wrong items to uncooked baked goods. Sometimes they give you frozen lemonades with no ice in them. Just be sure to check everything in your order before you leave to make sure you have it all, its what you ordered, and that it looks reasonably edible.

First time at this Milford location and went in just for coffee and dessert. Had a bear claw which was absolutely delicious, exceptional. The cleanliness on the other hand was sub par, food on the floor, dirty tables,, just a mess. When requested we received a quick wipe down of the table which left crumbs.

Theyve gone down hill over the years as far as quality of food. The broccoli cheddar used to be much creamier and heartier. Though the convenience of in store pickup is amazing to help the beat the line app is friendly and if something is wrong staff Is always willing to make it right

I absolutely love panera! Theyre food is amasong and the atmosphere is great, just.dont go.through the drive thru! Im literally writing this while waiting, its SO SLOW! Other than that everything is great! Id suggest just going inside, itll be faster

The staff is Just plain lazy ... I went to Panera 8am one morning I was the only person in there ! I order a bagel and ice mocha . I was literally waiting for 15 mins . Thats ridiculous !!! Never again Hamden location is the best if you ask me ..

This is one of the newer Panera stores. Like many others this is a good place to stop for coffee or lunch. They have wifi so I frequently sit and do some work here as well. Food is generally quite good, as is the coffee.
