Very disappointed with florist department today. Went in around 6:50pm the woman working watched me pick out flowers, helped the older woman before me, didnt say a word to me or ask to assist me. I then walked away to grab a vase and when I walked back she was gone. The other girl working at service desk asked me if I needed assistance after seeing my standing there. She got me assistance and another woman came up to proceed to tell me the florist left at 7pm (mind you it was only 7:01pm at this point) and she was un able to help me and didnt know how to arrange flowers and suggested I take it all home and do it myself. I was rung out and out of the store and in my car by 7:03pm. I understand when a persons shift ends it ends, but as a worker myself Ive stayed late plenty of times to help a customer due to the fact that workers represent the establishment they work for, and to me this act represented a lack of care for the customers and their needs and that the worker was not their for the convenience of the customer. I had always loved this store and the service and have been a loyal customer for years but will now re consider where I purchase my flowers for arrangements.

Some employees are very friendly however there are a few that are VERY rude. Chris the guy that does carts is one of the friendliest and even knows my bf and I by name since we go so much and the lady who works later evenings in the self checkout I forget her name but she goes to school we have short convos she also the other friendliest! However theres one younger girl that usually works in self check out with curly hair and she will literally follow u around the store and be nosey and i dont go anymore if shes working along with one that works in customer service however I dont know her name and she looks similar to the nice girl that works there too! If u work in customer service u should ALWAYS treat customers friendly even if theyre having a bad day sometimes we do too no need to ALWAYS be rude to us though!

They offer excellent options for vegan products. I havent found any grocery store or even any other Stop & Shop with so many different types of foods available for vegans other than Wholefoods. They are less expensive and closer than wholefoods (45 minutes from my home) Unfortunately this particular Stop & Shop isnt the closest to my house its still only about 20 minutes. My only (slight) problem is that I cant seem to get customer service to mail me a circular from the Cheshire store weekly since i live closer to at least 3 different Stop & Shop stores. Maybe someone will see this review and start sending me circulars or explain to customer service that not all stores sell the same items. In any case, thank you Cheshire Stop Shop!

I asked them to bring back Campbell soup that they replaced with their product, explained that they dont taste as good and cant be microwaved for work. I now shop at Amazon and suggest that when they do t listen you do the same. I love our options these days..lol! Also had a cart full of groceries $450 worth. The line next to me was express line which nobody was in, apparently instead of helping with my large person they thought the grand total of $100 (estimated on the few people who were processed while I waited) were more important than me. they are also expensive compared to other stores

The prices at this location are usually a little higher the other stop and shops. The facility is clean. The bottle room is clean and all machines typically work. The checkout process doesnt take too long. One of the better stop and shop locations so far...

Long wait in check out lines as well as self check outs. (?) Need more staff. Prices are higher than Waterbury or Naugatuck (other S&S near by)
