Sadly, poor service and a poor product. I needed a few T&G pine beetle boards to make a sliding door as a gift for a new home owner. After talking with frlco on the phone and looking at their website, they had exactly what I needed. The bad: When I arrived, they took me to the lone pallat and told me i could only pick boards off the top, the majority of which were visibly broken and/or warped. Because I would be required to purchase their junk wood, I would have had to buy at least 25% more than I actually needed, and would be stuck with their scrap lumber. It blows my mind that they force the consumer to pay for their lack of due diligence. I was given the ultimatum of either purchasing their junk in order to get get what i needed, OR walk away... The trip turned out to be a waste of time and effort... will not be back.

After being severely disappointed by BORG (Home Depot) on numerous occasions I decided to look for a better place to buy lumber. This is it. These guys stock real, high quality lumber products and sheet goods. They are also a wealth of information, unlike the inexperienced idiots that BORG hires. The prices are appropriate for the quality. When you consider the waste you end up with from BORG products youll probably save money by shopping here. The lumber is straighter with tighter grain than BORGs and the sheet goods are a much higher quality too. This is especially obvious when cutting them as the junk from BORG has tear-outs even with a good blade and Front Ranges plywood gets a nice clean edge.

Bought 180 cedar pickets for my fence - only one was slightly bent. The quality of their products is superb. The pickets were slightly more expensive than the ones at Home Depot, but the quality was so much better. Plus, the pickets were 7/8 thick, not 5/8. Some people lamented about the attitude - yes, they will not court you like salesmen in other retails, but the service is professional and they helped me load the lumber. Also, they got back to me the next day after I emailed them a question about some of their products and pricing, with waaay more information that I was asking for.

Unlike the "big box" stores, this is a REAL lumber and hardware store. This place is like a step back in time for me to days of personal service and knowledgeable staff. They actually know what they are selling and what they are talking about! They have better quality products, often at a better price, and stuff that is just not carried at the "big box" stores. Instead of tons of crap they generally have what one needs to get a project done start to finish.

I needed to fix my patio, I was quoted $850 to $1000 at other places, with all kinds of recommended add on products. Came here and talked to Cathy, not only did she take care of me and answer all my questions, she simplified the plan and got me set up with everything I need for less than $300. Amazing knowledge and service.I will buy every stick of lumber and accessories here from now on. Thank you Front Range Lumber.

If you are looking in the Denver area for a quality lumber company, you cannot go wrong with Front Range Lumber. They far exceed the quality and price of any lumber outlet that I have found. If they do not have it in stock, they can get it. I was amazed at the quality and competitive pricing that they offer. There delivery charge is low considering what others charge too.

Awesome company with great service and delivery for 25.00! Regardless if its an interior or exterior project, you should start here rather then getting bad information and materials elsewhere only to find out your going to end up there to get your project completed. Grade A quality lumber, decking and doors. Oh by the way the sales team rocks too!!!

Just one opinion. The service and knowledgeable staff are great but its been my experience that their pricing on just about everything Ive ever bought or been quoted was high. So now when I am trying to price something out, unless Im being really comprehensive, I skip this place all together.

They have good products at a reasonable price. If you decide to do business with them be sure to get any promises in writing and pay by credit card so you can have a way to dispute any overcharges or denied refunds. You have other good options like Jordans building Supply and Alpine Lumber

Great service, great selection, especially cedar which is getting tough to find elsewhere around town. Always helpful and willing to share their knowledge. High quality 7/8" cedar fence pickets. We use them frequently and have never been disappointed.

Their hours are terrible if youre not a professional in the industry. I gave it three stars because theyre family owned, but i cannot rate them based on experience because I have a job and they dont cater to our kind.
