Dr. Jacobs was good, however I will not be returning because of the rest of the staff doesnt appear to care about the patients. First, my exam took 2 hours! They bounced me back and forth between rooms for different exams, extremely unorganized. Then waiting for long periods in between. While waiting, I can hear the desk staff chattering and laughing very loudly. Sorry, it is not professional to sound like school girls while working in a DOCTORS office.... Lastly, I spend $400 on glasses hoping that I would like them enough to wear them (I have problems wearing glasses). They are nice, but I cant get the staff at this office to adjust them properly!! I have been twice, the glasses are too loose on my head. Next time I went to Wal-Mart instead to get them adjusted as the staff at HD dont seem to care if you are happy with the fit and I am sick of going back.

They got me wrong prescription!!!! I spent over $180 on glasses and I couldn’t wear them, I forced myself to wear them but I get headaches. So I asked for re-check visit to verify the prescription, they said they have to charge me or I have to wait until my next “yearly” visit (for the insurance to cover). I said “if I have to wait (since I still can see with my old prescription) would you cover the fees of new glasses? Guess what? They said “NO”…I have been wearing glasses since I was 18, I never had any issues with MDs prescription. But those folks can’t even come up with correct prescription. Don’t waste your time and money with them…

I called ahead and made an appointment for an eye exam and was given one the very same day. I was greeted right away and they explained how much everything would be and how everything worked. The staff was very friendly and ran a very clean shop. Even though everything looked like it came straight out of the box new they still wiped everything down to ensure it was clean. Everyone took the time to make sure I was comfortable and to make sure I got what I was looking for. I would recommend supporting local business and coming here over any of the luxottica owned chain stores!

His follow-up visits for lens replacements, and any other small issues that have arisen through the years, have always been resolved in an efficient and effective manner.
