Ive shopped at this Ulta store for many years - reluctantly - I might add. The location, selection of products and decent prices have outweighed the horrible service. That is - until my most recent shopping trip. Nikki asked if I needed help and was amazingly helpful, offered suggestions, was very knowlegable and adorable too! I came in with a random shopping list that took us all over the store - but she never skipped a beat. She really knew her stuff. Cosmetics and hair care products are not cheap, but her knowledge of the products and their features had me buying anything she suggested. FYI... the spray-on, leave-in conditioner she plucked off the shelf among the dizzying array of other products is the best product Ive ever used. Ever! If you find yourself at this Ulta - ask for Nikki. Shell turn the shopping experience around for you!

I came in to buy some new make up and asked one of the gals up front to assist me. She had me sit down then walked away and talked to one of their girls about something unrelated to work for about five minutes before she came back to color match me. She then put one stripe on and said it matched handed me the make up and walked away. All the staff there with the exception of the lady at the register were all very rude and unhelpful. They all seemed more concerned about talking to each other or checking thier cell phones to help me at all. If I am coming in to spend $100+ on make up I expect to have good service with that. I love Ulta and the one I typically go to at Southlands has AWESOME staff....this one on the other hand needs to be re-staffed.

I came into this store for a makeup event. I ended up chatting with Shaun a hairstylist and he was so nice and knowledgeable, I ended up scheduling a cut a color correction the next day! It is quite possibly the best service Ive ever had. He suggested some different stylling techniques I never would have thought of and I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. I will never go to another stylist as I feel like he was able to understand exactly what i wanted and then some! I would give 5 stars if this review was just for the salon, but unfortunately the front counter lady (whom I think was a manager) was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. I didnt leave with the makeup I wanted, but at least found the salon.

I desperately needed my highlights redone and I was on a tight schedule. Ulta salon hours are very flexible and accommodate last minute appointments so I booked an appointment at this location despite some negative reviews and was very pleasantly surprised. The stylist I was booked with, Tess, listened to what I wanted and delivered exactly what I described. Her technique was skillful and the blowout at the end was flawless. My hair is so soft even after a significant lightening process and the color looks very natural. I would recommend Tess to anyone. Book an appointment with her, I would pay twice what I did for color like this!

i used to work for this place and let me tell you that i would NOT put my money toward supporting these filthy people. they treat their employees like absolute dirt, and they dont even clean the store they literally sweep everything from the floor under the makeup tables. they dont sanitize their things, their cheap, rude and fake as hell. this is all the (mangers) fault. although almost every employee there is amazing, the manger is basically responsilbe for this. and they WONDER why theyre store gets such bad reviews. huh, maybe being a decent human being would help your rating go up wouldnt it. obviously Im not alone here.

Ive always been rather happy getting my haircut at Ulta until this last time. I decided to get my hair done while on vacation. I spent the vast majority of my appointment trying to tell my hair stylist to cut it shorter but she completely ignored me and then proceeded to tell me how to style it even though I constantly told her I couldnt style my hair the way she was doing it. She had a picture to follow and the end result was my hair a good 2-3+ inches LONGER than the picture. Needless to say I walked away extremely unhappy on the verge of tears. I will not be returning to any Ulta to get my hair done any time soon.

WORST customer service ever. I walked in and all the girls were standing around chatting. Ive been to this location numerous times and it never changes. There were way too many employees working which as pointless because they werent helping with anything. They all stood around at the front the entire time I was in there. Then when I got in line to purchase my things, there was 1 cashier and about 6 of us in line. The manager as far as I could see from her name tag was busy doing something else didnt even ask anyone else to ring. Never will I be coming back here to shop

Honestly one of the MOST ANNOYING ULTAS I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. Go to a real facial lady not here, they are very pushy and keep asking if you need help. The same lady literally asked me 13 times yes I counted if I needed help while I was on the phone and politely said no lol. Leave me alone I want to shop in peace and no I dont want to buy what you think I know my skin. I see them just trying to sell whatever products to everyone Im like dang these people are wasting their money and should go to a professional and just come here for makeup.

I am not a big makeup person, but I went in to this Ulta to purchase makeup for my wedding. The girl who helped me was amazing! I believe her name was Amy. She not only pointed me in the right direction, she looked through my Pinterest wedding makeup board to help me get the exact look that I was wanting! Then she proceeded to show me every step of how to apply it to get the desired effect! I walked out with a full face of beautifully done makeup and everything I needed (including the knowledge of how to do it myself!)

My husband bought me coach poppy perfume from your website. When UPS admitted to delivering it to the wrong address you flat out REFUSED to help us and said we should dispute the charges! He had to go rebuy it from somewhere else. I ship with UPS every day and when a shipment goes missing we always reship to the customer, and then file a claim with UPS. any more! You have horrible customer service and I am soooo dissappointed. Judging by the comments below, I am not alone.

I have shopped in Ulta stores for years in many different states and I am a member of their Ulta rewards program. Yet, I have never received the type of horrible customer service that I got at this location. The manager and the sales associate were down right rude when I brought in a return with my receipt within the 60 day window stated on the return policy. I recommend going to the Park Meadows Ulta instead - that location has much better service.

I used to work for an Ulta and not once did I treat customers that came into my store like I was treated there! Was I invisible...my manager would have been up our case if we were rude like that. I also applied there before I even visited the store and did a follow up call and was told "that if we were interested we would have called you..." I dont want to work here or shop here for that matter. I miss my Ulta in Iowa :(
