I really wanted to love this place as its a very convenient location for me in the morning. Also, the male barista in the morning was very pleasant and I enjoyed chatting with him. Lastly, Im a cappuccino drinker, so I really appreciate trying different local roasts for the unique flavor profile they give. The first time I went in I noticed that he over-drew(clear water came out after the espresso) the shots and only poured two for a large which is normally a three shot in the US. I didnt say anything because I always like to really try someone elses method before criticizing it. It tasted very watery and the roast seemed to be nothing but bitterness. A fairly mild bitterness by my tastes but not terribly enjoyable because it lacked dimension beyond this. The next day I mentioned to him that he had over-drawn the shots and that the drink tasted watery. I asked if hed please make sure that it didnt come out like this again. He responded positively and did not over-draw this time. So the drink I got had a slightly bolder espresso flavor but the profile remained the same. The drink still had a water mouth-feel and taste. I travel the state for my business and visit various local shops. I asked one of my best baristas this morning to make sure I wasnt out of line. She agreed completely including on the fact that you must be using a low fat milk(which you should ask before doing) and she also brought something up that hadnt clicked with me before. She mentioned that you are most likely not properly steaming the milk, the instant she said this I recalled that the head had very large bubbles and lacked any body or creaminess.

The coffee is fresh and tasty. They have such a wide variety of syrups to flavor their coffees as well. Cookie dough?? Yes, please. The owners are a pleasure to deal with as well. Atmosphere is very welcoming amd I loved their sign in journal encouraging people to write, draw, and share. One down side is limited store front parking, but it is very ADA accessible.

Ive almost gone through the entire menu. Yet to find one I didnt like. By far my favourite is the Dirty Chai Latte. The way she crafts it doesnt carry the normally oversweet aftertaste one would find at Starbucks. Its got that right coffee shop atmosphere. The pastries and burritos are damned fine too!

Good coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. The playlist was great - perfect for concentrating on work and production. Staff is friendly, and coffee is all roasted on-site, organic, fair trade, etc. There is a modest selection of pastries and snackes, and facility is clean and well maintained.

Friendly, fast service every time! Amazing coffee that is fair trade and organic. They roast it right there in the store! Plus they have yummy breakfast burritos and treats. I also love seeing the owner work there simply because he loves it.
