I live just across Chambers from Cash in a Flash, so I stop in frequently to check out their items. I dont personally pawn things (never pawned anything) but I do like to shop around for deals on things they buy.Overall I find their asking prices quite high. On occasion I have found an item that seems to be a good price, only to check on my phone with Amazon and find that it is actually priced at retail value - for a used item... in a pawn shop. As a blanket statement I would say that if you picked any random item in the store and just paid their "sticker" price then you will overpay. The handful of times that Ive decided I found something I wanted to buy, the staff has been quick to come down 10%-15% on the price almost immediately. Buying big ticket items or large quantities at once has helped me see as much as 30-40% off "sticker" price on some occasions. Overall I find Cash in a Flash to be a reasonable place to check out for deals. The staff has never been especially helpful, but neither especially unhelpful and never rude. Stuff here can be had for a deal, but be sure to shop around and negotiate the price before any purchase.

came in to sell my telescope and felt like the girl helping me hated me just for coming in. she was extremely rude even tried interrupting me when I started explaining that Ive looked up the new and used prices on the product. she then told me the telescope and lenses are selling for 120 new and that was completely wrong for one the lenses were a different brand so obviously this was not sold together and when I got home I continued to research and it turns out I was right if it was the same brand lenses I would have to buy it separately and the lenses started at 100. sorry for ranting but I was nothing but calm and she was nothing but rude she tried to play me and wasnt making any sense and also a wile ago to sell a gold chain and the said they couldnt take it because it was just gold plated so I said ok have a great day got home and realized they stoll the 12k tag that was on the chain... sketchy. owner please respond no one likes that "mexican" or "american" that you have working front. no customer service skills at all

I went in for a loan in the morning, no one else in the store. I had read the reviews and thought, the guy who mentioned the alcoholics and meth addicts was going way overboard. But the guy started lowballing me before he even saw my items. Not items I stole and brought there, but my things that I was parting with for a short term loan, ( I just moved here and am just getting my head back above water). So we got off on the wrong foot to start with. We go out to my truck so he can see which items he may give me a loan on, and the lowballing continues; "I cant take this Ryobi stuff", he says, however it is Bosch, clearly labeled on the bag, a much higher quality tool. Then BAM!! it hits me, the smell of alcohol. This guy is probably still drunk from last night. I can smell the booze emitting from his body, and at that point, I let him know that I knew, and I left. I didnt get his name but he was the short guy with graying hair, in case the owner reads this. He or she should do some house cleaning.

I go in the Aurora Location once a month. The same old manager doesnt say hi or welcome. I look around the store and when i ask questions re: the item i am looking at he walks in back. He sure is johnny on the spot when I start asking prices. He tries to sell everything over priced. He is Rude and condescending. I asked about a laptop, told me it had newly loaded windows 7 home edition, when i powered it on it loaded windows 10. He said it was laptop only and tag on laptop stated bag & charger. Then he told me one price and tag was lower. I asked how long it had been there in the shop. He said it doesnt matter, we cant tell how long it has been there. Correct me if I am wrong, By LAW Pawn shops have a waiting period before they can SELL customers merchandise. When it is time to put items out on floor that werent paid for in pawn, All items are supposed to be marked or at least logged somewhere so pawn shops dont get in trouble prematurely.

So Far I am not happy with the way I was treated over the phone I came into a situation where I had to help a family member by making a payment for them. Matt got on the phone and from the second I mentioned my family members name he went from being nice to being extremely rude. I apologized several times for the situation at hand but I feel I should not be yelled I get some is "late" but this is the first time I am dealing with you or your company and Like I stated to Matt I was just made aware of the situation I dont need to spoken to like I am an idiot. I can only imagine how I will be treated once I step in the store. you should really get a zero for customer service

Beware of these alcoholic meth users! Do not let Matt, the manager, take your jewelry to the back. As a former employee and customer the policy is to take the jewelry pawned, check it before the safe, and swap out diamonds. Matt says no one checks the jewelry when they get the pawn out and its hard to argue. I had never in my life heard so many racist and derogatory remarks made about customers in my entire life. Bottom line if you support Cash in a Flash you support thieves, racists, open meth users as well as drunks. They will swap your diamonds out for less quality diamonds!

I wish i could say that everyone in Cash in a Flash is easy to work with but i personally can not. The other day Phil greeted me as soon as I walked in and was very personable. Not only did he loan me the exact money I was needing he did it as a CSA (customer service representative) should. Friendly, courteous, expedient and just a straight up good guy to work with. It is hard to find a good CSA, really no matter where you go. I found the guy. Thanks again Phil for all your help. You remind me of a real good buddy that jammed out with the guitar.

Very friendly staff and very professional with firearm sales. They take their time to explain a few things, but admit if they do not know some thing, which I find to be very important. Definitely will not bullshit you into buying something and let you test things out (within reason: they will plug the TV and to show you that it works, hook up an amp to the guitar and show you the pedal works great and how it sounds, will definitely never allow you to dry fire a firearm ;) for obvious reasons). Very happy with the customer service I got. Will return.
