I went to the Minute Clinic here at the CVS Pharmacy on Imperial Highway and Eureka street in Yorba Linda last week. The nurse practictioner with the long dark/black hair was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. The nurse practitioner also discriminates against people and acts like a snob and like no one can understand what she is saying so she talks down to people. I have my Masters degree in psychology, and obtained my bachelors degree in biology, so Im intelligent too. Right now, Im going through some financial hard times so at this moment Im stuck with CalOptima/Medi-Cal until I make more money and can get my job to pay for my medical insurance. The nurse practitioner talked to me in a condescending manner (talked down to) because I currently have Medi-Cal/Cal Optima medical insurance. ON top of that she starts saying, "Oh we dont take that" when in fact a few minutes before I had called the CalOptima/Medical Office asking if that particular Minute Clinic took CalOptima/Medi-Cal, and CalOptima/Medi-Cal office told me YES that that Minute Clinic does accept CalOptima/Medi-Cal AND that they ALSO accept my medical group as well. By the way that the nurse practitioner was acting then it really showed that she discriminated against people who currently have CalOptima/Medi-Cal medical insurance and that she showed in every way that she didnt genuinely want to help me. If you want to be around a nurse practitioner that is unfriendly, unhelpful, ignorant, and that likes to discriminate then visit this Minute Clinic. However, if you want to be treated with respect, and be around someone who is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and intelligent then go to another Minute Clinic because this is NOT the Minute Clinic that anyone should go to.

03/14/15; went to local St Judes urgent care they forwarded prescription to CVS on Imperial in Yorba linda they told me that if CVS did not have get it when I got there to just have them call St. Judes. When that exact scenerio played out I asked the cvs clerk to please call. His answer was that it was not their responsibilty. I never said it was I told him and asked him to please call. He did, he got the recording and quickly hung up and told me they were closed without so much as listening to the selections. I called, listened to the selections and of course they were open. St jude asked me if I could let the clerk talk to her on my phone and he refused, said they weren`t allowed. I then asked him again to call st Judes he replied that st jude must call them. i addressed the pharmacist who was standing their he was as indifferent as the pompous clerk. This pharmacy showed a complete indiference to the customers needs and made no effort to resolve the problem, the clerk and the pharmacist were not rude but they, especially the clerk, were very very smug and it was obvious that they could care less about the customer. IF YOU NEED A PHARMACY DO NOT GO HERE, give your business to a pharmacy that gives a damn!.

Pharmacy: i know that they were busy, but i stood in the consult line for about 5 minutes without even being aknowledged. I came back with some medicine selection and stood for 2 more minutes. They had 4 people that saw me, but none aknowledged me. I had a sinus medicine question.

One of the better CVS in the area. Always clean and has competent staff. Sometimes it may seem like they are inattentive but theyll be glad to help you.
