I have shopped at this CVS on Harvard many times and today had to deal with the nastiest person at the register. When I went to check out, first he told me he couldnt accept my coupon because I hadnt sent it to my card. Fair enough, except he said it in a loud rude "I dont want to be bothered" tone of voice. Then I said I had a CVS card and tried to tell him my phone number which has always been fine with everyone else when I shop there. No, I was told curtly to enter my name in the machine. My glasses were buried in my purse so I again asked if he would enter the number for me. "NO, you need to enter it yourself". I entered the number and apparently missed a number or two. He said the number was wrong and so I told him my number out loud. He said "Thats not what you entered" and snickered in a nasty condescending way. I then asked "Is there a reason YOU cant enter it for me?" and was met with some rude answer and more lazy "I dont want to help you " attitude. I finally entered my number correctly, retrieved my items and told him how rude he had been. His reply was "Thank you very much and MERRY CHRISTMAS." As I walked out of the store he yelled at me "Hey, leave the red cart" in his smart alec nasty voice. I came back in and asked the woman clerk, who had heard some of what had happened, if I could have the name of the General Manager of that stores area. The rude clerk loudly butted in and proclaimed "Ill give it to you", and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and started writing. I continued to try to speak to the female clerk, and he loudly interrupted "Here is my name too and the store phone number for ya!" I asked him to stop, leave me alone and go away, that I wasnt talking to him. He put his hands on his waist and said "I work here and Im going nowhere!" NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE THIS! I am a regular customer and if he had a bad day its not my fault. Its also not my fault I didnt want to dig out my glasses and he could have easily entered my phone number to be helpful. He was a lazy, rude, jerk with an "Im better than you" attitude who has no business dealing with customers. I am willing to bet he has had other complaints. The female clerk who was very nice was clearly not wanting to show involvement, but looked at me like she was so very sorry with what she was witnessing. He wrote his name as Quiann and he was beyond awful. CVS...he is costing you customers and should be fired!
