I live in Oakland where, with the exception of McCallous in Montclair (far from most residences) we have no ladies clothing stores. Only some small boutiques. Yesterday I discovered Stein Mart in Walnut Creek and liked the clothes I saw. Everything is priced at half price, which to me seem to be the correct prices. I am slightly handicapped in that I cannot step up or down from the sidewalk into the street. I had to walk to the PetCo shop to walk down. And then I had to walk back to my car. To me that is a real obstacle and this alone would keep me from driving from Oakland to visit your store. Also the deep trench with some plants next to the parking spaces would be dangerous for me when it gets dark. nell fliehmann

Opens far to late for the modern shopper. It has mall hours, although located in a busy shopping center with lots of customers going to other stores, like Safeway and Peter well before 10am. With Walmart open at 7am, Target at 8, Ross and Marshalls at 9 or 930, too many competitors out there for the early shopper, who just dropped their kids off at school. And unfort, 10am is too late, Im going to Marshalls now,who respect their customers time. 10am is for dinosaurs, and other relics. Uodate: Marshalls was crowded at 930, got over $200 in merchandise I wanted to offer Steinmart.

Went into store, found out its a discount store(like Marshalls but better) with Greg Norman and PGA brand golf shirts for men, I will be back. Picked up couple of pillows, tossing the old ones.

Great selection of mens clothing. Fantastic prices! Very courteous staff. Ask for Gage in the mens department, he knows his inventory.

Its basically a slightly fancier version of Ross or Kohls. Not worth the 25 minute drive for me.
