I went here for flowers for my DIY wedding and had a horrible experience. I had pre-ordered the flowers I needed the week before and was told that because of the flower type, they may not be in until later in the morning. I showed up at 11:00 and my flowers were all ready, which was great, but the quality was questionable. I was in a rush and needed the flowers for the rehersal that evening so was in no position to complain, but I wish I would have because my roses looked HORRIBLE the next day. I should have called to complain, but Im a bride who planned my own wedding, so I was a bit frazzled in the days leading up to my wedding. When I called to complain a couple weeks later, I was told that Sequoia offers a 24 hour return policy...I wish I would have utilized that. As for their staff, everyone with whom I spoken on the phone seems delightful, but the woman who was helping me in person the day I was there could not have been more unpleasant and unhelpful. I think this place is useful for a seasoned flower buyer, but as a new DIY bride, I really wish I would have sprung for a real florist...in the longrun, it probably would have ended up costing me about the same. I do have to say, however, that their selection is great and they offer lots of different vases and filler, etc.

I had a few bad experiences that left me feeling frustrated and sad to have to deal with such terrible personalities and lack of follow through. I went in asking for advise and was told that I couldnt be helped until I knew what I wanted. Gal was very rude. Tried one a few more occasions to engage and interact with the staff and was left feeling.like this is the place to go when you know what you want and they already have it.

The girls in the store helped me, a total novice, out with my event. All my friends LOVED the flowers we had and i sent a few of them down to Sequoia for their weddings and events! Always such a Joy at Sequoia. :) Oh! and this year they gave our over 100 dozen roses for random act of kindness day - WOW way cool! You can tell that the people who work here are super nice. ;)
