I just returned to skiing after a very very long lay off. At best I was never much more than a beginner level. I had been about five times in my whole life. I signed up for the SRSS bus trip to ski Sierra on February 18th. The trip included bus fare and lift tickets at a very reasonable price. The bus ride was easy and convenient. I rented my skis boots and poles for $40 for the day at SRSS. They have a very good rental policy. Many people at the resort were impressed at the quality of the rental equipment and told me so. SRSS sized the equipment to my body and begginer skill level and adjusted the bindings perfectly. I had the best day skiing ever. I instantly fell in love with skiing so I bought my own Rossignol skis and Salomon boots at Santa Rosa Ski & Sport when I want to return my rental equipment. Brian helped me select the right equipment, he explained the proper use and care and I got a very good price on everything. I actually moved up to the next level after that first trip. At the beginning of the day I could only ski green runs. I took a two-hour private lesson. By the end of the day I was skiing the blue runs. As soon as I got back I signed up for the next bus trip for March 4 which went to Northstar. I was so happy with my new skills & equipment that I made plans to return before the next bus trip. I went back up on Feb 23rd, the 27th and 28th solo. I definitely moved up to intermediate skier. On the March 4th bus trip I got really lucky and was able to ski with the bus chaperone Brian all day. Hes not only good company but hes a hell of a snowboarder and he has over 15 years skiing experience. He started me out on the blue runs and after an hour we were hitting the black diamonds I was able to skii them all day without any problems. I just got better and better throughout the day . I cant tell you how happy I am. If I could I would give SRSS and their entire staff SIX STARS.

Long time Skier and Wake Surfer, this place rocks! Noah and his team of industry professionals really know their stuff. From flip flops to sunglasses to wake boards and more. Im never disappointed with a trip to SRSS. This place has become a pilgrimage 4 or 5 times a year. They stand behind the products and when Ive had issues with gear, they are happy to jump right in and help me. None of that mega store crap you get with the other strip mall stores. I have recommended to family and friends for years and will continue to do so.
