I have stopped buying in that store, because the owner (or at least the middle age woman that acts like that) always makes nasty remarks about my children (or other) accusing them of putting in danger the toys displayed all over in her cluttered store. My daughters have never broken or being close to, any toy but they always got a lecture basically just for being there. She also uses the sidewalk (a public space, of course) to display toys, and then gets mad if any child gets close to them. The other day she scolded my 4 years old just because she got close (without touching) to a play house pretending that I was going to take a photo of her by the entrance. I have the impression, that ironically, she hates children. Fortunately there are several on line option for the unique type of toys she sell.

Love the unique selection of toys and always leave happy. The owner/woman always working could be more friendly but I chalk it up to cultural differences and dont let it deter me. My children love it here also and learn great lessons via this women tight keep of her shop.
