you may spend 15min just in line.somehow no matter when you shop its ridiculously long ( 20ppl?). they deleted the accompanying pics I posted but since its always like that I just posted more. perhaps they could hire another checker to reduce lines if they werent paying to have generic positive reviews flood their google page. once the security guard followed me down the st. bc I threw my receipt away (in the waste basket at his kiosk) hence couldnt show him. on a matter of principal I walked back, picked it from the empty garbage bin where he was sitting. I live nearby. This is the 2nd incident with store security or employees. the 1st involved my reusable shopping bag,you can imagine. I will no longer give this store my business despite its convenient location to my home.

Horrible store, employees @ register are slow & easily distracted, their meat is very old & theyre not hiding it.. Ppl given out 5 STARS must work there, this store is 4 the Neighborhood, my. Chocolate ppl, ,& my Latinos, if it were a white neighborhood that meat would be fresh & they would hire according to their traffic, but ghettos get bullshit stores. Hell most of the stores in Rich & San P have this funky smell of Mold Mildew & Azz & garlic but they have that Green pass sign in the window.... WTF

Youve got to really check the produce because more than once Ive gone In there only to find mold on the tomatoes and onions..their stuff sits on the shelf for much too long. And check expiration dates I got some of their vitamin water and when I got home did I realize it had gone a day over the best before date by a couple days and they were selling it at regular price and everything...but it is cheap if youre in a pinch. And around here its about the only place open that late...

Despite what taffy had to babble on about his racist nonsense, this is your typical budget grocery store, and it looks just like the one in Pinole where the white people live. You want the very best in fresh cut meat pay the extra money to shop at Safeway. If you want a quick no frills shopping experience with a decent produce section, and a decent selection of generic and name brand dry and canned goods that is open late feel free to save some money at foodmaxx

If you go during the day when everyone is at work this place is great. They are priced great and have everything you need, much better than going to Walmart. The major downside is if you go after 3 or 4 the lines are ridiculous, you will wait for at least 30 minutes, when they shutdown the self checkout it gets worse after 8pm. I really try and avoid this place.

FoodMaxx has an ad for Sweet Baby Rays barbecue sauce 28 Oz for 199 when I spoke to the manager he said that they didnt have any and it should be on the next truck which comes in tonight why is it that this ad started on Wednesday the 9th today is the 16th, Why dont they have the product yet.

If you can shop in the middle of the day or dont mind standing in line this is a place to get your groceries pretty good Quality Meats plus a large selection of dry goods and produce plus a little bit better quality service than the other FoodMaxxs Ive been too

I could find what I need at reasonable prices and its open when I need it. I work late so sometimes I get off really late and its nice to be able to go to a grocery store and get what you need at a reasonable price anytime day or night.

Low prices! The lines are always a little long but for the price, its almost worth the wait. I love the location, its by the freeway, the casino, and two shopping centers. The cashiers are very friendly while working...

Great selection, low prices. Quality is not the best of youre shopping for the whole week. But if youre just getting stuff for todays cookout it sooner party, this place has everything you need at a really low price.

Its a good store. It was even better when they had the Deli. The one thing that drives me crazy is the automated checkout line. It takes so long for folks to lookup non bar coded items like fruit and vegetables.

Very large store, nice produce section. Higher prices than when I use to shop there all the time. They do have some good sales and they last 2 weeks instead of the usual 1wk. Long checkout lines sometimes.

after 5pm this place is a mess. Its not the employees. Its the nasty customers. The staff couldnt possibly fix this and run the store. But I do love this store. Its always stocked well.

Ample parking and wide aisles and a large square footage of the store giving lots of good deals just make sure you check the expiration date as some items are near or close to expiring

Lines are usually really long. Only have a few registers open at a time but other then that its a nice place to do grocery shopping
