A very respectable selection of Vinyl records, CDs and some cassettes and DVD movies. They carry new and used items and they also take trade ins as well. The store is a good size and they have music playing, which sometimes is good and other times its esoteric and sucks. The clerks are busy stocking music and leave you alone to browse, but they are helpful when you seek their assistance. I got myself a Butthole Surfers CD to play very loud when driving fast. Although I am no longer a fan of the analog vinyl record, I was mesmerized looking at the records, because they are tangible art. The larger format of a 12in record allows the artist to be creative with the cover art and it is very entertaining. Streetlight also carries the heavier 240g vinyl records, and they are heavy, but from what a top audio engineer says, you are only paying for more vinyl. Never the less, if you like the way records sound, then this is where to buy them. If you like CD sound, this is also a great place to shop for them. It amazes me that this record store is open in the age of streaming music and I wonder how long it will last. Patronize this store and go look through the selection of records, browse like they used to do in the near past and experience what it was like to hold a vinyl record in your hand, before its all gone. This is a cool store, it has that record/head shop incense smell, and it even has the emo cashier girl who when she speaks you can barely hear her squeak, its entertaining. There are also flyers for events and the weekly alternative paper. Lastly, there are the hipster music people to watch while you shop. A highly recommended place.

This I great place to sell your old records, CDs, Dvds, or video games. They have a huge selection of used CDs, Dvds and video games for a fraction of the price of new ones..95% of all my purchase at Street light is from there used stock. I have literally purchased over 1,000 CDs here and never had problem, even on CDs that they put a warning that it may not play well. If you do buy a CD that does skip, they will take it back, no questions asked. The employees are also very knowledgeable when it comes to all music and are very helpful...is cant say enough good things about Street light.

Am sorry but streetlight female employees are such liars. I called to see if they buy vhs they tell me yes i drive all the way over there wasted gas so the female employee who supposly buys tells me no i ran to the car to get my id i get back and my playstation games where stolen from me.

One of the few remaining music/video stores around. Even back in the heyday of Tower, this place was a gem and still is. True aficionados will not be disappoint by this place. I hope this place stays for a long time. It will be a sad day if this place ever closes.

Love this place! I tell everyone about it!! If youre looking for quality vinyl and rad bootleg vinyl this is the spot. For 20 kookaroos I got the undertones 1st album + bonus tracks on a dope purple pressing. Thank you streetlight for keeping it vinyl!!
