Big fan of Muji. So when they opened a store in downtown San Jose, rushed to it. The location is in downtown but free parking is hard to find. If you pick San Jose city parking spots, Muji offers parking validation. Please ask for it. As for the offering, it is Muji-- minimalist Japanese products. The clothes can be a little pricey. The best part about the store is their extremely affordable and high quality stationery offerings. For a pen, paper and pencil nerd like me- this place is affordable heaven.

New Japanese "life-style" store in downtown San Jose. I always enjoy strolling around Muji in Asia, but this is a watered down version of the full Muji-experience. Muji is known to have simple, yet elegant and sturdy household items for the budget minded. Their stores in Asia has a wider selection of everything available, furniture, snacks, utensils, and stationary. This is more like a "Muji-Lite" store to showcase what the can potentially offer in North America.

Muji is glorious. The king of minimalism. I am in love with Mujis products. Everything. All of it. Once you set foot in here, I promise you, youll never want to leave. I have had to fight the urge so many times to not buy everything from here. If youre into minimally designed, clever little objects, this store is your guilty pleasure. Except you wont feel guilty about it at all. Be prepared to spend your money here. Dont worry, treat yourself :)

Calm haven for tired shoppers in San Jose. A store that focuses on muted tones and simplicity, from clothing to stationery. This particular store is more geared towards womens clothing (but mens is available) and stationery.

Somehow the cashier gave us a invalid validation ticket dated 12/30/15, and it is not worth going back, so we have to pay parking fee ourselves. I bought a lot of stuff there and they couldnt even get one thing right.

Ive always been a sucker for Muji stuff. Its nice to get an antidote to USA living by walking in here and seeing lovely, compact goods; clean line clothing; bedding and even some furniture. Not cheap.

Tons of classic Japanese goods!! Aka stuff that is so useful that you would have never in your life thought you ever needed but now that youve discovered cant live without!

Well-organized, clean, friendly staff. Some items pricing need a reality check, but when I want elegantly simple quality Japanese goods, Muji is the place to go.

Nice store but way too overprice. They sell lots of small things that you can buy online for much better prices.

Great products, customer service, shipping and handling time/fees are lacking compared to the rest of industry.

Love the selection products: an American Apparel meets an IKEA. Clothing, beauty products, furniture and more!

Cool products, but difficult to get to the store due to parking. I prefer going to the new MUJI at Standford.
