Great bright cherry place tucked away on the 3rd floor in Macys with 180 degree view of Union Square from the window seats. Serves sandwiches, salads and soups besides French pastries, desserts and of course macaroons. Extensive beverage selection to choose from to go with your meal. Had the the Hard Boiled Egg and Bacon sandwich. The eggs were cooked to perfection - no green edging and the bacon was thick and crispy. Loved their freshly baked bun - reminded me of soft challah bread. Wonderful place to take a break and rest your feet while shopping in Union Square.

Bright little tea and snack shop at the top of Macys. The decor seems out of place with the rest of that floor, but the main focus are the teas and meticulously created pastries. A taste of the tea in their generously sized cups, paired with their exceptional desserts, and youll understand how the chef got on the Top Chef show. Buy some of the tea, fruit pates, marshmallows, and dessert sauces to stock your kitchen.

A little hit or miss. Im not a huge fan or the crepe cake or the nutella bun. I had high hopes for the gougere, which is a popover with cheese and herbs, but it was just okay. The hot chocolate and coffee are a bit bland. The macaron flavors are okay though and my office has ordered a couple cakes from there for birthday celebrations that were pretty tasty.

Layout of the shop was very nice and elegant. I had a great interaction with their cashier and the server. There were many people in line which I believe they should have more registers to escalate their service time. Overall it was a great interaction with their service and their food was awesome! Love their packaging!!!

Ive been here a few times around 4p on a weekday to meet a friend when its easier to find a seat. Great views of Union Square and its bright and airy. The desserts look very tantalizing. Ive had the macaroons and nutella bun--they were good but not spectacular. A little tea break away from the shopping craze.

We tried to go here for dessert today after lunch, but there were homeless people sleeping in some of the seats. This place doesnt have enough seats as it is. I mentioned it to the young kids who were working there as I left. If there was a grown-up manager working there, perhaps this wouldnt be a problem.

I guess the appeal of this shop is for the tired Macys shopper who needs a quick way to raise their blood sugar level - on that count... It works. As a stand alone sweets shop... I would bypass for many others in the area.

The cookies are really colorful and tasty. The atmosphere is some what playful like a childrens room. This is a great place to grab a cookie or two to satisfy your sweet tooth.

It is located in an easy to find location on the third floor. The mushroom tart is tasty. It has a generous portion of well seasoned black mushrooms on a puff pastry.

Liked the macarons, wtf cookie, Russian tea cookie, muffin. Thought the others cookies, 5th element, nutella brioche were alright. Price was normal for sf city area.

A good experience, but the pastries seemed too sweet and a little dry, and the colors were a bit overwhelming

Delicious. If I were Padma on Top Chefs Just Desserts Id declare this the winner. Shame that its in a Macys.

A fun spin on classic French macarons. The peanut butter and raspberry was our favorite!
