One of the best things about Telegraph and Durante street are the places to eat on a budget. When you are on a budget and want to get your sweet tooth fix then you go to CREAM. The times Ive passed CREAM there was always a line and this time there was a line which grew exponentially once I got there. The anticipation was killing me because the smell of burnt sweetness was wafting through the air, what a tease. Got to the front and man I felt rushed. I had so many questions and I was hoping I can try some of the ice creams but I can feel everyones eyes on me. The people in front were super patient and nice. I asked for a chocolate chip cookie and snicker-doodle cookie with vanilla ice cream. The cost was $2.50; to me that is about 83 cents a piece when you look at it that way. Once I took a bite I was sold!!! $2.50 for what you get at cream is like winning a raffle, semi-life changing. I wish I didnt wait to long to take a bite because the ice cream hardened the cookies a tad bit -____- CREAM is worth every penny and there are so much combinations you become determined to try a little bit of everything. On a hot day, an East Bay weather kind of day, or even on a cold day CREAM is a worthy place to get your ice-cream-cookie sandwich fix.

Speedy yet yummy custom ice cream sandwich shop on the corner. The cookies are delicious and fresh - like hot out of the oven fresh. Which can be problematic when paired with ice cream. So you need to eat it on the spot. Okay, so this is a franchise, but I can see why! I wish one would open up in my hood. You can choose any flavor ice cream and pair it up with any flavor cookie. Only $2 for a sandwich. Ice cream flavors are: * Strawberry * Its a Goody * Banana Walnut * Butter Pecan * Coffee Almond Fudge * Cherry Vanilla * Peanut Butter Cup * Cinnamon Caramel * Mint Chocolate * White Pistachio * Ultra Chocolate * Coffee Blast * Soy Mint Chip * Vanilla Bean Cookie flavors are: * Chocolate Chip * Double Chocolate Chip * White Chocolate Macadamia Nut * Oatmeal Raisin * Peanut Butter * Butter Sugar * Turtle * Snickerdoodle * Carnival (M&M) * Capuccino So in high school math we learned the formula to determine possible combinations. For instance, how many unique combinations can one create with different factors? It goes something like x! with x = the number of factors. Therefore 14 different ice cream flavors and 10 different cookie flavors gives you.... ...more reasons to come back here and try them all!

Update: As a family owned biz, they care. I had a 2 star review on yelp because I didnt care for it... they wrote me, thanked me for my thoughts, told me they cut sugar down 15%, and wanted any other thoughts. I am highly respectful of some place that takes user comments seriously... even if I was sassy and a bit jokey. So even though I really didnt enjoy the spot, much respect to a business run by people who care. Otherwise... JUST DO THIS AT HOME! =) For real. Unless you stumble upon this place late at night, I cant imagine the necessity of reading these reviews, then going out to visit it. This is like being hit in the face with sugar. I am not sure why the bay area is slobbering over bad ice cream with zero nuance, but this reminds me of the craze for humphrey slocombe.... its nothing but an insulin spike that you forget about in 20 minutes. Find your fave ice cream, toast up an eggo or some of your fave store bought cookies, and do it at home. Unless youre drunk and wearing sunglasses at night, this is likely not the place for you. Every other review proves me wrong, except every other review might have been a drunk person with obliterated taste buds and absolutely no penchant for subtlety.

I love ice cream and fresh baked cookies so I really want to love this place but each time Ive had their ice cream sandwich, Ive been left with sticky fingers, stomachache and the need for water. I think the idea of the sandwiches is cool but it doesnt really work. Its nice that the cookies are warm and fresh baked but that also melts the ice cream really quickly. They put the ice cream into small cookie paper bags which is less wasteful than in a cup but the ice cream melts so fast into the paper which is not very strong so things get messy fast. The cookies are great, I love their flavors but they are too sweet. So sweet that I have never been able to finish the two cookies and I get a stomachache from trying. I do like their ice cream and the fact that they have actual whole pistacios or almonds in them. I think next time I will just order a couple of scoops of ice cream in a cup and maybe one cookie :/ Oh and dont be deterred by the line, it goes pretty fast. They know what they are doing and have set things up to be pretty efficient.

This place is as unique as it is delicious. They do one thing and they do it better than anybody. There is usually a line but that just shows that this place is on point. Those cookies baked to perfection staring at me while I decide what combination of awesomeness I will devour. As my turn lurks closer and closer I notice that the few people working the magic are super friendly and genuine. As my turn comes Im looking at a huge smile and an enthusiastic, "what can I get for ya?" I smile back and say that Im take a snicker doodle and vanilla sandwich!Bada bing bada boom there I have it. I felt like a kid walking out of a candy store. The vanilla ice cream and snicker doodle cookie mixed oh so perfectly as I took bite after bite till I looked down and noticed that there was nothing left but the faint remnants on my fingers. And then that was gone. This place is just down right awesome. You must come here if you are near and fighting a sweet tooth.

After a day of walking, I wanted to cross another bookmark off my list....Do you scream for Ice cream? because I do After drooling seeing so many pictures of it was a must we stop over.Thank goodness, no line whenwe walked in because after 5mins a crowd of 10 was behind us. Homemade organic ice cream and greedy eyes, with so many great seasonal flavors I am embarrassed to say I cannot get past the glory of the Caramel ice cream at . Its just perfect. I have tried many other versions since the Salted caramel movement started and none come close to that burnt sugary sweetness of Molly Moon. Not to miss when youre in the area!!! Did I tell you the fresh waffle cone was to die for???? Oink oink!!! "Ice cream makes me happy"Thanks a bunch CREAM

TIPS: Very sweet... So I try to mix up the combination of the cookies (the two dont have to be the same) and the ice cream so that its not too sweet. To get an even distribution of cookie and ice cream in my mouth, I take turns eating from the top cookie and the bottom cookie--rather than taking a bite of everything at once. It helps me eat it cleaner, too, because the ice cream wont get pushed to one side and end up dripping everywhere when it melts over time. Ive also ordered dozens of cookies from this place, and they were still soft and delicious after daysssss (paid $31.50 for six dozen cookies). Pros: Smells good! Close to campus. Cons: Cash only. Long line sometimes.
