Was in from San Diego, and happen to have nothing much to do on a Monday so I ended up dragging my girlfriend with me to this place just because I love the Chrome brand. I got a new citizen messenger bag and Im still really happy with it. Wish the coffee bar was open, mustve been between shifts or something. I felt a little rushed however when it came to chosen a bag. Idk if it was from my girlfriend or also they guys there, but these bags last for a freaking long time. Gotta choose wisely. Every bag has a different personality and will last forever. Every year they improve on their designs. Stick with the messenger bags because those never go out of style. I just wish mine had a handle some where so I dont have to sling it over my shoulder every single time hitting things with the buckle.

Chrome made its name in the cycling world and now theyre starting to dabble in the motorcycle realm by making some of their clothing out of indestructible material (I HOPE they will eventually put armor in some of their pieces...game changer). Their bags and warranty are amazing and they will even make simple bag repairs in the shop for free. Its hard to find that kind of service and reliability elsewhere. I always make sure to swing by during their sales and having a hub in San Francisco helps when trying their clothes on for sizing. I first purchased their Pawn bag for riding my moto in the rain and even in the worst downpours going 65 mph everything stayed dry. The Pawn kept my books and homework dry and got me through college haha.

Shopped here a few times and the customer service is pretty much nonexistent. Came in to do a quick return and it was the most awkward 15mins of silence ever. No greeting, no questions, no eye contact, no goodbyes, nada. I usually dont mind when sales associates ignore me (I prefer it) but when I need to interact with them Id like to have someone with a pulse help me. Pros: - great products, its really quality stuff - shops big, has a lot in stock and close to CalTrains/Muni - they have some great warehouse sales, parties and occasional weekend events - its connected to a coffee shop if youre into that kinda stuff Cons: - no customer service - bags are expensive

My intention were to design an custom made chrome citizen bag.when i arrived at the store i was quickly welcome by friendly staff.I was then approched by a friendly young Asian guy with glasses.He then gave me the run down about the build a bag process,after going over the color and fabric options,kind disappointed about not have any pattern options and more color choices.This process took about 5mins,before they began to create my bag i turned around and fell in love with there london style bag.After months of research Iam now a proud owner of a chrome bag.I had i wonderful experience.thanks chrome sf.

Amazing service. I bought a bag here several years ago. It ended up being used much more than I thought. Some of the stitching on the strap started to come undone. Instead of the typical retail "Buy another," they fixed it for free. They even gave me a loaner bag! The bag itself is great. It fits tons of stuff, and has lots of pockets and dividers. It keeps liquids in and out. Messy food deliveries in the rain anyone? It provides a comfortable riding position to carry weight on your bike, and doesnt mess with your balance or widen your profile like some racks can.

Love the store and the in-house design/creator, Angie. Awesome energy and positive attitude, she turned a custom bag around for me super speedy style. Lots of friendly, helpful staff. Im so excited and having been wanting a chrome citizen bag forever. I finally indulged. The bags are STRONG and great for biking all over. I got a custom bag made for only 20 dollars more than the original bag. Also - theres a coffee shop attached!

Today was my first time there. Went to buy a backpack for biking. The store is very nice, and even more importantly the people working there are excellent! Professionals who know their field of work and very friendly, making you feel very comfortable and at the end thinking that you made an excellent choice to shop from that store. Recommended.

I love Chrome products. The quality is excellent, and they can take the beating expected while biking around any city. The staff here was really cool. I dropped in here while in town, and the guys gave me info on stuff to do around San Francisco. They were laid back but helpful. The store had great product selection, as all Chrome Hubs do.

Cool shop that sells a lot of high quality bags like messenger bags, laptop sleeves, etc. They also carry some shoes and apparel and have an area dedicated as a coffee shop now! The americanos and lattes are good and theres hardly ever a line in the morning. Its pretty small though so not a good place if youre looking to sit down.

This store has been hit in miss with the staff over the years, but this last visit the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The one thing they have going for them rather the staff is good or not is that they have great product with a great warranty!

These guys make some of the most durable, stylish bags around as well as commuter-friendly clothes and shoes. This location has apparel, shoes and limited run bags you cant find at your at most bike shops.

Bags are pricey but if you want quality this place is great. No parking unless you park at Starbucks accros the street. The staff helped me choose out some great gear.
