Thank You Tuff Cars. I found my 2005 Mazda RX8 at Tuff Cars a few weeks ago. I was a bit nervous about purchasing a used car, but since I have owned 2 Mazda RX8s in the past I felt that I knew enough about the car so I gave them a call. First of all the car was in superb shape. Flawless! Max was very nice and I felt very comfortable with what he was telling me about the history of the vehicle. I knew before coming in that the listed price was slightly under KBB so I knew when he said he couldnt come down that either I was driving away with a great deal or I am purchasing a vehicle with problems (100k miles) and I would have to take my chances. I test drove the car and it purred like a kitten. It ran great and I felt very comfortable making the deal. I took the car in to John Hine 2 days later for an oil change and to check into anything else that might need to be checked on and when my service tech entered my VIN# he could hardly contain himself. He immediately asked me what I paid and I told him $11,100 cash out the door. He said you just doubled your investment because your vehicle had a brand new engine put in February 2011. I purchased a 2005 vehicle with a 2011 engine. Thank you Max for everything. All I can say is Zoom Zoom. I will definitely consider purchasing again with Max. KMRTNZ

No way that you would get an honest deal there. I recommend walking far away from this dealer. First – the car I got was advertised in superb condition. I talked to Max (the owner), he described the car as in good condition, “no problems with the car”. Reality is the car was basically crap and he knew it! Yes, you might get a warranty that you have to pay extra, but it is useless anyway because it will not cover your problems. Second – Max will sell you a car that wasn’t registered for last two – three years. He will give you a contract that you are responsible for paying the registration and he will “estimate” some amount with saying “if it’s less I will you return the money.” Reality is that DMV will charge the registration fee for all the years back, and MAX will call you, that you owe him. I got burned, and it’s only my fault, I realize it! But you still have a chance to find an honest deal somewhere else. Do not buy JUNK from Max, as the other poster said.

Bought 2 vehicles within 3 years totally satisified. The first car was a 2004 Honda Civic that Max sold me. The vehicle was in good condition with 174,000 miles on the odometer. Max fixed some problems and did not charge me any additional money within 30 days after the purchase. I purchased a 2003 Volvo from him last January for my wife and again was totally happy with the car and price which was under the blue book. Any buyer of a used car should check out the vehicle first. I have referred many friends to Tuff Motors and all have been satisified with their purchase. Would buy again form Max he has great late model, high mileage cars with very fair prices.

After adding all the fees for the purchase of the car, he made us pay for a registration of the car. The problem with this was the car was already transferred to my name for $15 and the registration was up to date. Max went to the DMV and gave us registration sticker for the same year (2015 instead of 2016) and did not try to tell us he made the mistake and let us drive away only for us to realize later. Called and did not get money back!!!! Very shady business. The car works great after the $500 maintenance for basic problems.

he sold me a BMW that 4 days later overheated and then a few days after that the water pump went out. a week later the clutch went out. I got ripped off. He wanted to see the money first before i test drove the car just like the other person said. Dont buy from him. He is a rip off. I called him about the car to see if he can help me out with the repairs and he pretty much said he can tell me his mechanic and thats it.

The dealer came on very hard and told us to go to the bank and get the money even though we had not even driven the car. We also felt like he was trying to hide fees which he later referred to as documentation fees when we confronted him about it. We really liked the car but since the dealer lied to us at several occations and changed his story we felt that we better look for a car elsewhere.

Max was very helpful and hooked me up with a great car that has been running smooth since purchasing it in November of 2011. He gave a great deal under blue book value with a 3 month warranty in case anything went wrong with the car. I recommend buying from Tuff Cars and would purchase there again if I need another car later down the road.
