I am so glad I chose Leo Hamel to purchase my wifes engagement ring and wedding band. After shopping around several other local jewelry stores in San Diego and having some poor experiences it was so refreshing visiting here. The staff was friendly, honest, caring, and invested into making sure I made the best decision. Specifically, we worked with Logan, she was fantastic, and everyone else we interacted with throughout the process was great. I can vouch that if you visit Leo you will enjoy your experience, not feel rushed or pressured to make a decision and that they will truly help you pick whats right for your fiance, and what works for your budget. Purchasing a wedding ring was one of the biggest purchases I have ever made, so I really appreciated all the support they gave me. Presenting options, discussing intricate details, and ultimately helping me make pick the perfect ring. My wife was thrilled, I dont think I could have picked a better one. Throughout the process, Logan was great to communicate with and even made sure to remind us to bring the ring back for a cleaning a few days before the wedding to make sure it was super sparkly! We loved doing business with Leo so much that my wife even bought my wedding band here. I have received many compliments about it as well. Thanks Leo Hamel, and thanks Logan!

Dealt with Loe himself today and he was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. He wouldnt let me use my $100 off purchase coupon I received for my birthday from them. He told me to pay the price or get out of his store. I felt like I was dealing with the MAFIA. I have bought 3 Rolexs from them and will never go back. He told me the sales person is making no commission on this sale and he cant go any lower. I told him I didnt believe she wasnt making commission and he said "are you calling me a liar?, get out of my store" I said I did think he was lying and I guess I was right, because then he told me she was only going to make 1%. Then the sales girl gave me another $50.00 off cause she felt bad for me. I never called him or his staff a liar. I also tipped the sales person $40 cause Leo said she was not making any commission. She was nice but he thinks he is someone special and can bully people into a sale. I guess it works. cause yes I did buy the watch cause I didnt have much choice as they were going to charge me almost $700 to fix the one I broke I brought in, but I could trade it in and I walked away with a new watch and only paid $795.00 cause they made me pay the tax on the full price. Sure wasnt the family guy that his adds portray. STAY AWAY.........

I found some jewelry lying around from a previous relationship that I didnt want to remember any more (bad break up but at least she gave me everything back). I found this place from an add in the Union Tribune and decided to stop in. I walked into the main building to find that it was a jewelry and watch store. A beautiful one I might add. So after being redirected to the estate buyers by the friendly receptionist, I sold the jewelry to them, no problem. I felt like they understood the value of my belongings and actually got more than I thought I would have got for them. Excited about the money I received, I decided to go back to the watch store and look around. The sales woman, I think her name was Lisa, was extremely friendly and I was surprised by the amount of knowledge she had about the product. She help me get the perfect Rolex for about the same amount of money I got from the estate buyers. Ive never had a Rolex before but the prices for the used Rolex were so hard to pass up. I didnt only exchange jewelry for a nice watch, but I exchanged a bad memory for a great one. I love this place. Time to show off my new watch!

Ive been going to Leo Hamel for couple years now. From the moment you walk in they treat you like family. The hostess always welcomes us by our name. They are so sweet and friendly. They have beer, wine and water to drink while you shop. I went there looking for an engagement ring. It was such an experience. Maggie sat down with me and explained all the Cs of diamonds and picked out the perfect diamond for us! My wife loves it. Having such a great experience with them the first time we went back to get our wedding bands. Maggie ordered some bands that I was looking for. I brought in some pictures and she did the rest. I have been enjoying great service fro Leo Hamel for a while but I recently worked with Jennifer Cilch who assisted me with a jewelry repair on a bracelet that I had been wanting to fix but was really worried about turning out right. The bracelet was very special to me and I wanted to make sure that whoever worked on it would do a great job. Well, it turns out that I had no need to worry. Jennifer talked me through the whole process and made sure the bracelet turned out perfectly. I was so impressed with the customer service & quality of work at Leo Hamels. When my grandmother went to be with the Lord she left me her wedding rings. I wanted to incorporate her ring with mine so I went to Leo Hamels & was so happy with the time & attention they gave to making sure I got exactly what I wanted. Fast forward a few years for my wedding anniversary I knew right where to go when I wanted a band made to resemble my wedding band so I could stack them.
