Last week my daughter purchased a pair of $120 cleats. When she went in, she told the sales rep that she thought she was size 7 or 7-1/2. The woman measured her and put her in both. My daughter then said she thought the 7 1/2 was too big because her heal was lifting out. She tried on the 7 and they were snug so the woman recommended the 71/2 and showed her a trick by tying the laces in a different way. We ended up purchasing the 71/2. My daughter went to soccer practice the next day and said her foot was lifting out the whole time and did not have good contact with the ball. They were too big. We then made two attempts to exchange but the manager was not there and the sales associate had no authority to make an exchange without him being present. Today, after arranging to meet with the manager, one the first words out of his mouth was, "YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LIKE WHAT I HAVE TO SAY." WOW, thats customer service at its best!!!! He would not exchange but said I could buy another pair at cost. After bantering back and forth, I requested that he retry the cleats on my daughter and see if he would have fitted her in those. After trying, he said they were big but still would not admit that his staff did a bad fit. He said it is up to the customer to make the decision on what fits well. He tried to use an analogy, what if you buy a new car and bring it home and then decide you dont like it...you cant just bring in back. WHAT???? So why would you have someone employed at your store that cant properly fit cleats??? Im now stuck with a $120 pair of cleats that my daughter cant wear and ones he likely could have returned to the manufacturer for credit. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN AND HOPE YOU WILL NOT TOO. JUST A SHORT DRIVE DOWN THE STREET IS ANOTHER SOCCER SHOP AND THEY PROVIDE WAY BETTER SERVICE!!!

Customer service was poor. I walked in, looked around at shoes for about half an hour and the employee there acted if i was invisible! Some gentleman walked in after me and was quickly greeted and helped. As soon as the employee finished, he ignored me and went somewhere to the back of the store. Finally, i waited at the front desk so that when he would return he might be able to see me. Instead, he returned only to answer the telephone and then began to socialize in front of me!!!! (I can tell it was a friend) I finally left after that! The reviews at the bottom were probably written by the employee or owner! Avoid this place!

This was the most knowledgeable soccer store I have been to in three countries! The service was excellent and it was busy there! The person who wrote three years ago needs to go back. I was at another store nearby a week ago called Soccer City or Soccer World in Elk Grove (?), but in comparison, youll get better service, better knowledge, and better value by going to this Kombat Soccer in Sacramento! 3 yrs is a long time, man. I can only imagine that they either have a different staff, different management or better training! Go to Kombat!

Our family supports our local soccer store, Kombat Soccer, and is rewarded with attentive, knowledgeable service from a patient staff. They knew all about the various soccer leagues for adults AND children and kindly fetched a wide range of indoor soccer sneakers for our picky daughters. We got a phenomenal deal ($22 brand name sneakers!) and were able to support the neighborhood.
