Read some review from Google Places and Yelp and decided to come here. I just moved to the area and left my running shoes at home (womp womp). It turned out to be a good thing though because I always wanted to replace them (bought them 5 years) but always talked myself out of it because they still ran well. Anyway, I bought them from a dedicated running store with really knowledgeable staff that could offer personalized service. So, when looking for my new shoes, I wanted the same experience. TOTALLY GOT IT at Fleet Feet. The woman who helped me measured my feet, asked me about my current running style, and even understood what I meant when I said I didnt want "too much shoe." She brought me pair after pair and I was even able to run around outside the store to see how the shoes felt. I asked about the return policy when I checked out (just in case I decided later that the shoe sucked) and discovered it was awesome. I think it was 30 days full return with no wear, and 90 return for store credit with wear(!). The shoe I ended up buying (Womens ProGrid Mirage) was just as fabulous as when I tested it out, so I kept them. I will definitely recommend them to friends looking for shoes and when it comes time to get new shoes, Ill definitely be back here!

My daughter decided to run track for the first time as a Junior in high school. As a competitive athlete in other sports, I knew that she would take this pursuit seriously and seek to avoid injury. Fleet Feet did an exceptional job of consulting her on what she would need for both event competition and training. The sales representative was chosen to provide critical information regarding her events and for her personality.The combined efforts of Fleet Feet personal service and a week of high school coaching has produced an excited and informed new athlete to the sport. Donning her new well fitted shoes, my daughters feet felt great and did not slip while producing the 8th fastest school record in the 300 yard hurdles her first trip around. Fleet Feet helped create a memory in a pair of shoes that will like be kept for decades to come.

Shayna, Diane, and the rest of the Fleet Feet team took the time to make me feel welcomed from the time I walked into the store. Not only did they address my concerns with the type of needs I needed to get back into running but they went above and beyond with taking the time to make sure I was getting put into a new shoes since I had been running in the same brand/model for over a decade. Lastly, Fleet Feet really does want to provide more than a shopping experience but a way to integrate into the local Sacramento running community. The particular day I was shopping they were holding a fun day run and had refreshments and snacks afterwards for the runners. Prices are competitive with online retailers, but the experience of shopping local and getting personal service is worth far more. Interested in a race? Fleet Feet offers training for all levels of fitness and distance. For forty years they have served the Sacramento running community, and after one visit, youll be hoping for forty more.

It is very likely that I will recommend Fleet Feet to friends and associates. My sales associate was Jeff. He appeared to be very experienced and knowledgeable. He was very patient with me. I asked tons of questions and I was in the store for a lengthy amount of time, trying to decide on running shoes. Jeff was very professional and thorough. I left the store very pleased with two pair of running shoes, socks, running fuel, and a hydration bottle. I will visit the store again for reflective gear and a headlamp. It makes a difference when you have a well trained associate like Jeff to assist difficult customers like myself. I have a reputation for being difficult and very particular so for Jeff to satisfy me speaks volumes.

I went to Fleet Feet Sports in Sacramento for the first time last weekend. I am on a weight loss journey and have been experiencing pain from wearing the wrong shoes. I received EXCELLENT customer service. I actually told my husband that it was the best service Ive ever received! He listened to what I had to say about my problems while walking. He watched me walk, measured my feet, and took a look at the shoes Ive been wearing to see how I walked. Not once did I feel compelled to purchase an expensive shoe. He knew I was on a budget and actually came out from the back room with 3 boxes of shoes that were on sale! I walked away very happy with the entire experience, and I will definitely be going back.

They are wonderful. They know what they are doing and they do it in the best possible way. They are genuinely caring and they have your best interest at heart. I also highly recommend their No Boundaries run fit/walk fit training whether youre a noob like me or an advanced runner. They make you feel so welcome. Youre more than just a team, youre buddies. Before No Bo, running felt like a chore. Now, its fun. Its been an amazing experience meeting new friends and training for my first race with all their support. Top notch, experienced sales staff to custom-fit running shoes for you. They check out your gait to ensure the shoes will be the proper shape and cushion so expect to do a jog around the store. Weve had them doing laps back and forth into the store room to try on numerous shoe variations and theyre always been super happy to take as much time as needed. Weve even gotten minor lower leg massages while they demoed how some of the therapy equipment works. Its a great store with a decent amount of other running gear available as well. It can occasionally get busy on the weekends if there is a mad dash to get new shoes but Ive never waited too long.

As someone who knows nothing about proper running shoes and minimal information as a novice runner, this was by far the best experience Ive ever had in a specialty store. Was amazed by all the programs they offered on their website for the store. The staff were very friendly. Jeff especially was amazing. He explained the fit process, what to look for when picking the right shoes, and was very patient when answering all my questions in regards to shoes and running in general. He didnt make me feel pressured to buy a certain shoe and seemed to really want to help me become more knowledgeable. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

It is somethings hard to find shoes that fit, especially with online purchases where you often have to return ill fitting shoes. Having properly fitted athletic shoes is essential. So, I really appreciate the professional, hands on shoe fitting service provided by Fleet Feet staff. They are polite and knowledgeable about fitting the shoe to the correct size and factoring in the customers intend athletic activities.
