Had my Minn Kota trolling motor serviced recently. Picked-up motor after traveling over 2 hours round trip. Was assured motor was fixed and paid $150 service charge. Installed the motor and it ran for 2 minuets before dying completely. I returned with motor after traveling another 2 hour round trip and was assured it would be fixed properly. Paid another $110 and waited a week.... finally told motor was ready, so I picked up again and re-installed. This time motor ran, but foot control steering did not work.... called and asked if mechanic even bothered to test before releasing to me...... apparently not. I was so fed-up, offered to purchase a new motor from Hook Line & Sinker if they would be willing to offer a discount for the repair costs already paid and trouble they caused... Gene the manager said no. These guys are horrible to deal with, they have no idea what customer service is or how it might benefit them. I will never use Hook Line & Sinker again and will discourage all of my friends to avoid them like the plague.

Very knowledgeable staff and friendly too. The only negative comment I have is at times they are overwhelmed with customers and you may have a long wait.
