Horrible experience, lack of customer service. Went to return a item (water testing kit) I purchased the day before. When I opened it it has expired date of 2012. Wanted to exchange it or return the item. It was only a 10 dollar item, it was not the item rather the principle that it had expired date. I did not had my receipt with me, I asked the person to check against my credit card which is normal practice at most of the stores , answer? cant do that. Cant take the item back with expired date. Nope Nope Nope, cant. I think the customer service should be, "let me see what I can do". I will not recommend this store to anyone, and as far as I am concerned , there is Lowe.s ACE, Home Depot within my distance. They need to learn what customer service is and replace their antiquated systems. They make you feel like you stole a $10 dollar item and want to return it. I left the item and another item I had to return for her to enjoy it. You see OSH it is not about the money, it is about customer service.

I shop here all the time, and usually no complaints. But two days in a row, in the evenings, completely disappointing service in the Pick-Up/Warehouse section. To be more specific, yesterday at 6pm the giant door to the Pick-Up station was closed, no access, no notice, nothing. How is that even remotely possible? Fast forward to this evening, again 6pm: door is open, I hear the automated alert ring to notify staff that a customer has arrived, and nothing for 7-8 minutes. Finally, someone manages to drag themselves from the 2nd level and doesnt even bother trying to help me pick up the propane exchange tank. Not a big deal since I can obviously handle a small tank, but the complete lack of concern by the staff both yesterday and today blows me away. What exactly is the management team doing? [Dates: March 14 and 15]

Due to my job I have been to every OSH and Home Depot between SF and Salinas. I gave 2 out of 2 stars for the people in the Tool and Hardware section. 0 out of 3 for the people that they allow to operate the registers. If your store has a policy about price matching, then you should either know what it is or contact a manager. Instead of asking everyone around you, and not getting any closer to an answer. You have a communication system for a reason. They were helpful in directing me to the nearest sears though when they realized that they think they cant match the price....

Great place, great people. (Costumer service) I got to say it right, Jazmin, Valerie and Maria, are the ones you need to look for any info, especially Jazmin, she give me the best professional Costumer service ever. On more than 5 years I been seen employees on orachard supply co. But now you guys make it right, please keep this young ladies.

I went there this morning because I needed an extra key but it was the most umplesent experience. I had to wait for twenty minutes and no body ever helped me. I can honestly say that this place lacks in customer service and they are all a bunch of morons. Im never going back to this place ever again!

Great for plants, pots, etc. Nice variety of outdoor plants. Most garden supplies and plants are cheaper and better quality than Target, Walmart, and Summer Winds. Their own brand soil is also better than MiracleGro.

Great place to stop by near Costco. A great selection of a variety of home improvement items from gardening to decor to hardware. Very helpful staff, but Ive seen cheaper prices elsewhere.
