To Apple - you have my permission to use this as a testimonial! I would be honored. As all Apple products and services are consistently impeccable, the Pasadena Apple store located in one of the most popular and well urban-planned part of Pasadena, CA known as Old Town is beautiful and has more products, services and highly knowlegeable staff. I have found experienced software engineers among the staff too. Importantly, they know how to treat customers with courtesy, in a pleasant manner, never talk down to any one unlike many geek hangouts. The staff motto could well be: "You represent profit and future business and I represent overhead." Thats my odd humor. I LOVE going there. This review is not from the average customer and I am NOT an employee nor nor a planted reviewer. My entire adult career was as a Scientist and Scientific Software Engineer in the Defense Industry. Degree Physics, minor Chem and near degrees in many fields. I started after 2001 the film inspired me with punch card IBM 360s and kept going. I have supported Apple since the SE. I spent $6000 when the Apple II was new when I wanted to develop an orbital mechanics/ballistic missile graphic high fidelity simulator for the USAF. Despite early complaints of closed architecture and incompatibility with Windows apps, I saw nothing but brilliant design, user interface, human factors and wonderful artistic design in all of their products. No more problems with incompatibility with other products and essentiall any OS or language can be used often from the current OS. Despite my background, many there and especially the Genius Bar dwarf my Mac skills. OS X is built on BSD Unix (I think) which is like a scientific paper under peer review and have personally convinced die hard only PC top notch engineers to try OS X (meaning CalTech and MIT PhDs in industry) as well as Ballet School owners who all became die hard Apple Devotees. I digress. Summary: Visit the store, browse and if you lean towards PCs, you wont be disappointed. While doing this plan for time to shop, see a movie or dine in the many ultra fun, clean and entirely safe area. Note: Very recently one of the most important new medical research and diagnostic tools, the tensor MRI was developed by a physicist turned MD using a Mac using Fortran! Also a friend doing research at UC Santa Cruz uses parallel Macs to create a super computer to solve difficult problems...like how to get out of the twisty passages....thats a prehistoric geek joke. Operating System or security problems which occur as in all systems are analyzed and fixed promptly by Apple and become updates super fast. Sorry for the long winded review.

The worst Apple Store in the world. First day, I stopped by the store and find a guy to report my camera issue( this is a replacement phone, the camera is not clear when you focus on the details, for example a cat) I showed a lot of pics to him and he accepted my opinion. He can definitely see the big different with another iPhone in the store. Then he let me come to next day to drop off my phone, and pick up same day. He want to replace a new camera for me. Until right now is no any problems. Second day, I let my husband dropped my phone there. When we picked up, the staff said there is NO any problem with your camera. So they did NOTHING on my phone. Then I showed lots of pics I took by this phone and old phone. I think everyone can see the difference but him. He crab another guy tried to persuade me. This is Second guy!! Then manager left. The second guy told the same thing even we use the phone in the store to take the same pic and compare with my problem phone. SAME Location and SAME lightning!!!! He still dont want to accept the fact. I said we can invite some other customers to see how BIG DIFFERENCES between them. Like I said, if my camera is no problem, why the staff want to replace a camera for me in the first day? He can see it and he agreed with me. Then second staff left to crab the THIRD staff came. This guy said he is well known with iPhone camera! Ok, I believe him and let him to check it. He took a pic in same location and lighting, but he still said no problem. Be honest these guys are all BLIND. Only thing they dont want to admit the problem. They tried to teach me how to use camera to take pics and how to take a different pics on different ways. Its so stupid and funny. The third guy talked to me about 30 mins and the left to crab the FOURTH staff. Overall, they dont allow other people to see how big different with my camera and others. There are totally four staffs come to persuade me to keep my phone. They all very rude and unreasonable. Dont face the problem even its obviously. Dont go this location its terrible. They even dont know how to respect customers.

I was very disappointed, upset and angry yesterday. I was in line to buy a iphone 6, when its my turn to choose iphone ,the staff told me that they dont have the glod one. So I asked her to just wait a minute, I want to ask my wife Whether she can accept the color.Then she pass me over to the guys who atfer me.I didnt say I dont want it. After two minutes, when I called her that I was ready. She cut the line ,and told me there was no more, gave the phone to the ones who behind me.It was 9:30 am. I waited for 45 minutes until its my turn to pick up the phone,ask her if she can help me, she said this is the way they doing things and had no more. This is the way the apple staff doing things.Even dont know what "in line "mean. They Only want to finish the job,Never consider what customers feeling. Maybe that was a little thing to her ,but to me , that should sacrifice a lot of things. I have three children, one month twins girls and two years old boy. When I get in line to buy phone, my wife need to take care three babies the whole night,because I should get up very early to get in line and cant take care babies. Today I get up earlier to get in line , the type we wanted is sold out .so I took a another one . My familys fight is tomorrow night.So tomorrow is the last chance to buy the phone we like for the babiess birth and for my wife. I hope I can get one. Thats a little thing I want to say. I dropped my mom off to pick up an iPhone 3G s yesterday and drove my car around the block a few times expecting her to go through the line quickly. 15 minutes turned to 30 minutes which eventually turned into an hour when I found her still outside, in the hot sun, waiting. So, I went to park my car in the delacey structure to bring her water and wait with her. Considering it was around 95 degrees, it wasnt exactly pleasant to be waiting around in. As we stood there and waited, three employees stood around doing nothing outside. One that was rather remarkable was a woman named Linda. Not only was she lazy and not doing a thing, but when one elderly man complained about waiting for 30 minutes in the sun, she replied with a laugh, and walked away. She then proceeded to stand around outside and watch people enter the line, pretending to be doing something. Her rude, unhelpful attitude further represents the poor staff and management at that location and I advise any of you to continue business elsewhere. This is a typical scene whenever looking to make a purchase at this location. Products like the blackberry storm look more appealing these days as AT&Ts costumer service continues to plummit. My entire family has iPhones, and after experiences such as that, we are contemplating a complete switch.
