Came at 5am after finals were done to get some donuts for me and some friends. So Im hoping/assuming that they were relatively fresh. Donut holes are amazing. They are chewy and fluffy! But the other donuts I had were so so. Dare I say...bland? Its not that they werent sweet enough, but the flavors were a little blah. Get the donut holes. They are cheap and yummy. The unfilled ones are fantastic. Service is amazing. The fact that they are open at all hours. Mhmmm thank the lord. Lots of random eccentrics with some students. One guy was playing WoW. Others watching a game. Would probably never choose to eat there to stay. Maybe its because I hadnt slept, but the whole place felt very surreal to me. Post-final munchies success.

A wonderful, retro donut shop that you cant normally find anymore. The donuts are very reasonably priced and taste better to me than machine processed chain restaurant donuts. They are more fluffy and densely packed. There are also burgers, fries, and beverages. The taro pearl milk tea I tried once tasted horrible since there were chunks of powder I sipped up. I saw them make it by blending water, milk, and artificial powder and thats exactly how it tasted like. Would not recommend the pmt

Happy Donuts has good donuts, open 24 hours, and decent wifi if you need to get something done. It is a popular spot for students to study because it is opened 24 hours and has decent wifi. If you need to get some work done, this isnt the first place I would recommend but it is up there in the Palo Alto area.The one note of caution, there tends to be a lot of homeless people that camp out in there at night so it tends to smell around 2:00am.

This is one of my favourite doughnut places. Whenever I go to Palo Alto Ill make a stop here. The doughnuts are really nice. Soft fluffy and very light. They also have a cronut which is a mix between a doughnut and a croissant and its also really good. Its open 24h as well! My only complaint is that parking is iffy and trying to get out of it is a mess but still by far my favorite olace!

I love this place! They have a wide selection of freshly baked donuts! They also have yummy sandwiches! I love that they are open 24hours because I can go do homework anytime and have nice cup of coffee and donuts. Sometimes before work I like getting a breakfast English muffin sandwich. The service is good but parking is definitely tricky. Free Donuts on National Donuts Day!

The employees work hard and are very nice. The tables and lobby is very clean. The allnite hours are great. The customers are quiet and polite. The donuts look pretty good. However, the glass case the donuts are displayed in has living and dead bugs in it. Maybe its because the store is open all night so they never get a chance to empty the case and scrub it out.

Central to Palo Alto culture, this Donut shop may seem like nothing special at first glance, but it is a living relic of our homes legacy. Any kid who grew up in this neighborhood has spent more hours than they can tell you milling about around this shop. Their donuts are good, and amazing when fresh. Known for their blueberry cake-walk donuts.

Donuts and pastries were good, but the lady behind the counter was a total B. I just wanted a recite for my order and she started to get mad at me telling me I cant have one because I paid in cash and had to tell her before. She knew the price and everything, but refused to give me a recite. In all, good food, bad customer service.

Happy Donuts is a good solid donut shop with a wide assortment. The donuts are pretty fresh -- not like Stans in Santa Clara, but good. The shop has a lot of seating and tends to get a lot of students hanging out. Two highlights: Open 24/7, and the decor features this awesome huge donut on the ceiling.

Cant speak firsthand for the quality of donuts, as I usually am just buying for my co-workers. But the staff isnt rude (to my face) and the service is quick. Maybe it could use some sprucing up, but kinda think leaving it as is (dated and a little dingy) gives it some personality.

Amazing selection. They have cronuts, crullers, croissants. Its all fresh too. Ive been to many donut places in Texas where Im from. Donut shops are on every corner there but this is the best one Ive been to by far. Palo Alto has a gem on their hands.

Amazing donuts and cronuts. Only downside is when leaving the parking lot you have to take a narrow back alley filled with potholes and broken glass that would challenge even the most experienced of off-road drivers.

Way over priced !!! Asian owners act like they dont speak english when you tell them about the over pricing. Hispanic employees do the same pointing fingers at owners. They do understand money how ever.

This is a favorite study spot, lots of laptop computers and repeat customers. The sandwiches are awesome; try lox or pastrami! Donuts are fresh. Breakfast any time. Low key, nice staff.

Their donuts are okay, and they are open late, but the ambiance is terrible, and they have a $5 minimum for paying with a credit card, which I personally find quite annoying.
