For the second time in a row, I dropped off items at this location and no one helped me unload. Last time there were 5 guys sitting around. This time there must have been 25 guys standing around. I dropped a bike off worth probably $150. Not one of the guys came to the car to help. I assembled the bike and rolled it up to the guy who was sitting on his butt. I had to ask for a receipt that he was sitting on. He didnt sign it he asked someone else to sign it. He said they were on break. What a crock! This charity has gotten so bureaucratic that they cant help a customer/donor because they are on break. Talk about not getting it. This is the last time Im dropping anything off to these ungrateful jerks. St. Vincent de Paul will now get all my donations. They have always been friendly and grateful. Unlike these folks. I wont even drop a dime in their Christmas bucket after these past two experiences.

While I was in the store, waiting in line to buy a small dresser and some other things, an older man came to the front and was taking the dresser that the sales clerk had asked me to bring up front. When I told the man that I was buying it already, he started swearing at me....he was calling me all sorts of foul words and cussing terribly but the staff did nothing to stop him....it was determined that he was right and he continued to tell and cuss at me. I left the store because I was so upset. The staff again did NOTHING.....I think they were afraid of him but they should have asked him to leave or at the very least, admitted that they had made a mistake and offered some interference or a kind word.

This is the best value thrift store in Oakland. It is better to take the time and explore the store. I have the most success during weekdays. The boutique has a wide range of jewelry and shoes are nicer . Worth spending time to shop.

Great thrift spot. Lots of furniture and fair prices on kitchen supplies. Theres even a corner of the store for pricier, more specific and quality stuff. My only gripe is the hours theyre open. Otherwise a great thrift store.

If you need a quick bargain are you looking for hidden treasure I guess so but it will take time because you have to look through everything closely and purchases are affordable

It changed my life. My 9 month stay with them has gotten me 12 years clean and sober as of June 2015. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your program.

Good location in Chinatown . Free parking lot next door. Plenty of discount according to the color of the ticket. Merchandise arrive daily.

Great staff but hard to stomach the place with a constant smell of urine. Dressing rooms are disgusting.

Difficult to find things. The racks are too crowded and clothing is not arranged by size.
