Gem of a thrift store! We wandered in after seeing a sign out, not expecting much, but boy were we happily surprised. It was a dollar sale day so ladies tanks, short sleeve tops, pants, shorts, halter dresses, and mens short sleeved tops were all $1 each. Wow! The clothing was all nice quality, though sizes tended more towards smalls and extra smalls. There is a small designer brand section if thats your jam (prices about double-triple regular). Mens selection was decent, but ladies was 80% of the store. Non sale prices were all quite reasonable ($5 dresses, 2/$5 tops, $5 pants), but the last weekend of every month is half off everything and they have sporadic other sales. The gentleman working was very friendly and quick to help find things or pull down displays. My only complaint is that they sort by color, not size so finding things your size can be difficult. But you bet my thrifty behind Ill be back again.

This place is heaven! I lived in Seattle for a very long time and was a huge thrift/retro store shopper. When I moved to Kent I found that thrift store meant basically goodwill, which also has some good stuff, but not the true thrifty stuff I was craving! This is a great little shop and has great clothes, shoes, books and a little bit of everything. Not just second hand, clean out my closet, stuff but cool stuff and their sales are fabulous! I even got a couple of retro picnic table coverings for free! Free is a great price!

Possibly the trans and CD friendliest thrift store in the Seattle/Tacoma metro area. This is coming from someone who lives in Capitol Hill. Ive bought some of my favorite accessories and articles of clothing here at great prices. You can even ask the store to keep an eye out for things in your size. Try getting your local Goodwill to do that.

Pam does an exceptional job of keeping her store full of treasures! Main Street Thrift has exceptional prices, a wide-variety of clothing options for all, and a friendly, helpful staff. Locally owned and locally involved, it is a gem to all who have checked it out.

Love this place! The small location seems to mean that the owner puts out quality stuff so you dont have to spend forever digging for "treasures" cause they are all right there!
