Its great that they always have somebody who knows the stock ready to take you to just what you want. And, they are great at describing how to do things. For example, I wanted to hang tools on my garage wall just over the work bench. Years ago I had struggled putting up a peg board, finding all the right materials, etc. I went online and found a $128 solution at A _ _ zon that would be easy to put up, but I didnt want to pay that much. One of the handymen at Johnson Hardware showed me just what I needed. I think it cost me about $20 for everything including the peg board. Theyre great!

The employees are very friendly and helpful. They also know alot about their products. Even though they are more expensive than the bigger stores, its worth it to make sure your getting the item you need and not having to chase someone down just for a question. The employees here are more than wiiling to help.

I love this store. They will sell wire fencing by the foot, so you can by 5 feet if that is all you need, instead of buying the entire 50 foot roll. It is hard to find service like that.
