Loved coming here till last last week (Nov 2014) They have a store policy that wasnt followed. What makes me mad is in the past it was enforced on me twice. The policy is that they will not sell an item with out a price on it. They will take it to the back where it will be priced and set out the next day. We went looking for a bed frame we had seen the week before. We were happy to see it was still there. We peeled the price off knowing that it would make is unfit to sell. We looked around. While we looked around the bed frame was sold. When I was asked if they could help I said "Well someone bought the bed frame we wanted and Im not sure why it was sold since your store has a policy that says NOTHING will be sold without a price... I know it didnt have a price because I have it here (held it up to be seen)" I was snapped at but what I assume was some form of management. "Thats not your job" with rude attitude. She came from behind the counter with less of an attitude problem and took me to another bed frame. Thats fine but the other was less money. She refused to work with me on the price at all. I would have been happy to take it for what the other bed frame was but she wouldnt hear of it. I feel they were in the wrong by not going by their own policy and did nothing to try to and make it right by the customer. I honesly would have been happy to just get it at the cost of the other bed frame. It would have been $4 buck difference. Thats okay I will stick with The Hope Chest where they have worked with me in the past. Miss Attitude needs to learn better people skills!!!

The people over this location really need to train the managers in charge on customer service. I will not return there. My friend, almost 7 months pregnant with twins needed to use the bathroom urgently. She was refused, no exceptions. Met with "policy" and insurance risk bc they store chemicals in their bathroom. The young lady (Arleana) who seemed to be in charge was not a good representation of the store in the least. Sometimes folks, you gotta put people before policy. There were several very kind workers I could see were in disagreement but without the authority to make the call. Thankfully the wonderful store across the parking lot made an exception to their policy and allowed my friend to use their facility. I attempted to get a contact name or address to speak to someone abt the incident and got major attitude, told I could write to the store address, refused to give me a name to direct my correspondence to.

Very UN Christian... 3 employees working the counter (on September 24th, 2015 early afternoon) told my daughter who has been a very loyal return customer, asked if this Keurig coffee maker worked and she was assured by all 3 workers that had been "tested and works" so she bought it. Got it to my home and tested it herself in front of me, and it turned on, but that was it; it did NOT work. When she went back to the store to see if they would honor a return or even store credit after having been misinformed, lied to, call it what you may; they absolutely refused to give any type of credit, grant the return or offer a solution in any way. That was my first time in The Good Samaritan Thrift Store, and I personally will not go back again, they give Christians a bad name and there was nothing about that incident that said "Good Samaritan". - C. A.un friendly management and atmosphere. B.mangeger said she was very happy working there, I see the reason why ,she enjoyes bulling employees and thretening employees.... that they may be fired from work. C.un Christian indeed. D.items are over priced for %90 of time in their store. electronic products are discontinued and labeled As tested and dont work , be aware . E." as is " material shouldnt be there for sale,you may find out purchasing a new product is the way to go. F.unsanitary enviroment. G. I asked for the management or the owner to contact me ... wouldnt you think they should call you back for any concerns or complaints a customer may experienced there. It NEVER happened. H.if you are on a low budget, may be its better not to go there. save your money and yourself from the headaches . I.not worth a star given to this place.

AVOID!!!! This is supposed to be a Christian establishment, but yet Rebecca, the boss, just fired over half of the employees in ONE day and didnt give a reason why! I have been a long time customer of this store and have witnessed its decline, but this has put it over the edge for me. These workers have families, kids, homes, etc. Rebecca is only keeping the non paid welfare to work employees. Im all for equal opportunity, but dont fire half of the store! She wouldnt even pay most of the employees minimum wage. I honestly just cant believe the type of person they have representing their "Christian" establishment. I will NEVER shop or donate here again. Rebecca, if you see this, you should be VERY ashamed of yourself and you will get your day. You cant mistreat people and expect good things to happen in life. SHAME ON YOU!

Im not sure its even worth reviewing for as far as it goes this is overall a decent, if barren thrift store. Most items have stains, holes or dirt but that is somewhat expected when thrifting. However the frustration comes when you go to check out and have multiple items removed as they are missing tags or prices have rubbed off. No manager can handle pricing and you loose the item as it goes back to get "reviewed" for 2 days - or so Im told.

I always find a fantastic selection and the prices are decent. The store is clean which is wonderful. The music is pop Christian and creates a joyful environment. The parts which could be worked on are the employees who are almost elitest and always rude. As if they doing a personal favor for you and they resent you for it. This place also claims to be a non profit but its a lie. They are as greedy as they come.

This thrift store has the best pries of any thrift store that I have visited lately. They are a non profit and they help people in need, so you can not go wrong there. this location has a little bit of everything. Is pretty organized and service is fast.

I dont think they have enough rotation on the items they sell here. I understand that it has to do with donations, but I have gone a few times and find the same stuff on hangers in the womens clothing section.

Loved shopping here. But the cashiers are so rude.This place needs to hire more friendly and Christian employees. I will be looking for a new thrift store to shop at.

Abundant selection in all houshold items except for maybe electronics. But its a definite staple in my thrift shop run.

lots of great stuff and when i found a crack in the base they gladly discounted it for us. very friendly
