I guess theres no such thing as REAL customer service anymore. Although each person who walks into the store is acknowledged by an employee yelling out, "welcome to Office Depot." One can readily infer their disinterest by the manner its said. When I went in this location in Little Tokyo I had questions about a few items, so I found a store employee who was on his phone texting. I said hi, I need some help with.... Without looking up from his phone he led me to the item I was inquiring about. He continued texting as I asked him questions. He seemed like a nice enough but....hmmm.... could you give me a minute and take a pause from your texting? I got my item, thanked him and browsed the store a bit then went to the register to pay. There were 4 employees huddled by one register. None of which acknowledged me until they were finished with whatever they were talking about. 3 left and one remained and began ringing up my items, never once looking at me. After he rung me up and I paid he said something (I couldnt figure out what). It seemed like a prepared speech of some sort. He said it so quickly I couldnt catch hardly any of it. I asked him to repeat it because I missed it because he spoke so fast. Still never looking at me but rather facing the register looking off into the distance so that I am looking at the right side of his face, he repeats it again just as fast. I again didnt get most of what he said but I decided I didnt care. I just said thank you. and took my receipt and put in my pocket. He just stood there and I stood there for a couple of seconds. Then he looked at me as if to say we are done you can go. I asked can you put my items in a bag please. He said we dont have any. Would have been nice of him to say something rather as a courtesy like Im afraid we dont have any bags right. I asked, does Home Depot no longer provide bags or are you out of them. He said they were out. Ugh! I live about 10 blocks away so I had decided to walk. I was left to carry all my items (some of them big and awkward shaped) home in my arms.

I needed to print something off of my e-mail and walked in here thinking they provided that service in a private work area; they did not. I was walking out requesting for validation- I was in there for less than 1 minute. Their manager and staff required me to undertake the transaction or they will not validate my parking ticket and I would have to pay the parking fee. They first wanted me to e-mail my document to their e-mail to print for me, I did not want to do that because that document contained my personal info-I explained this, but the PARKING was more important to them, so be it. As I was using their computer on the service counter facing the customers waiting in line, everyone were looking into my info as I was printing my document. The manager and staff did not care but were kinda smiling about me printing and paying something. They thought they successfully intercepted an intentional parking abuser. They did not believe me even after my explanation. So I undertook the transaction. A 33 cents transaction for the last time in my life at this location. We used to like this place because my wife works near by and we bought many things for many years-we have 3 kids in Jr High and High Schools. This location is convenient for us because She can buy school/home admin supplies on her way home after work and/or I can buy things while waiting to pick her up. People do these things you know. I can see how the parking could be a issue for them but the whole process was based on, "if you park you must pay", kinda mentality. It was completely unprofessional. We will never, ever come here again and will tell everyone the same. Go across the street to Kinkos. Folks there respect your privacy.

what a disappointment they are, been here several times to purchase goods & get some print jobs done. But thank to their weekend manager Sabrina my comcpany will never do business with office depot And simply not because of the money of $10 but because she is not a person of her word. She lied to me & my associates several times, concerning a print job. They have lost a and I will be sure to let every one I know of my experience. She could have been a better person and honored her word.

Well they carry a fair selection of items, but are lacking in others. Policy seems to be immediately up selling instead of getting or providing what is needed. Knowledge of staff seems geared towards whatever items or services are being pushed, with limited knowledge or experience pertaining to office function or to accomplish tasks. Have been told they dont have something for what I need to do only to find something for the job on my own.

Free! Eclectic performing arts series. Mostly music (from L.A and around the world. Excellent sound. Sometimes very crowded. Sometimes not so much. Lots of easy parking including a lot beneath the building (Enter for olive street - discounted for the events!) Or take the metro. Convenient Pershing g square stop from the red line. Take the escalator up to the plaza from the corner of 4th & olive.

Last night, the snarky clerk at this store was waiting on my friend Bob, a wonderful person who works his tail off 60 hours a week to help the less fortunate. Bob happens to be a big guy. Instead of being friendly and polite, the clerk said to Bob, "Hey, whats your Sumo wrestling name?" This kind of disrespect is totally uncalled for. The clerk should be disciplined and ought to apologize to Bob.

Copy shop: Orders done wrong, stated instructions via email, 8 years of experience in the print industry here and the manager wanted to argue acronyms. They never called to verify order. Both orders obviously wrong, customer was told to come back next day for fixed order which was past their event time anyway. No compensation, nothing fixed, just self-defending arguments.

A while ago, they changed the parking so you had to pay $1 to park but if you asked the cashier nicely, they would refund the $1 off of your total. They have gotten rid of this and now parking is free. I avoided going to this one for the whole time the parking situation was messed up. Im sure they lost a lot of business from this bad business decision.

The staff make this place work. There are some many different types of products inside, best policy is to ask for help from the get go. Staff is knowledgeable & not hesitant to reach out to other staff if questions are beyond their expertise. Negative: Parking lot is small, regulated by attendant & requires validation.

Very helpful staff here! Remarkably good parking availability for a store in this crowded downtown location. I got to park easily, place my print order, dash next door for a Starbucks coffee, come back and get my completed order, and get back in traffic for my appointment on time. Major success!

Great customer service and helpful staff. I love that I can come here to do all my shipping through USPS, UPS or Fedex. Parking used to be free with validation from this store but now it is $1 for an hour unless you get a validation from Starbucks then its free for 2hrs.
