I walked into this store a couple of years ago with the intention of buying some non-denominational Christian "apologetic" tools to help me witness to some Mormons who approached me the week before. :) Needless to say, I did feel unwelcomed, but I had to keep reminding myself why I was there in the first place. ;) PARKING/LOCATION: There is good parking all around the entire indoor plaza area its located at. Parking is never an issue. Its located a little hidden from plain sight... next to the AMC theater in La Jolla. ATMOSPHERE: I can only speak my opinion, and since Im not Mormon, the entire vibe in there was pretty unwelcoming. The atmosphere is difficult to explain... The air was almost... heavy. Right when you walk in, especially if you are sensitive to the Spirit, you can feel a huge heaviness in the air. EMPLOYEES: The employees were cordial, and offered to help me with anything I needed. It was funny when the cashier up front (as I was purchasing my items) slowly and carefully asked me if I was Mormon. I told him, "No, Im a non-denominational Christian." He stopped for a split second and looked at me, puzzled. I explained I wanted to do "research" before getting into a discussion with some Mormon friends I met the week before. He told me, "Good luck." "Eh, I dont need luck. Ive got Jesus." ;) STORE/PRODUCT ITEMS: The store itself is very organized. Anything Mormon-related can be found here, right down to Bible covers and activity books for kids. I noticed a couple of Christian (non-Mormon) items, such as some non-Fiction books (Joel Osteen, etc...) up on shelves. Their gift items was a really good selection too. If you were Mormon and all.

Great bookstore with friendly staff. A little hard to find, though. Its in the lower level of the shopping center underneath Ralphs. Park in the underground parking garage or walk in from the East entrance, lower level.

Great lds store, friendlnes was not what i expected ,to be honest i left me not much desire going back , but when i need something will probably will again . but service .. friendlyness needs to be better
