A Private User

I stopped in this store this afternoon, 3/30/11, I was trying to purchase a package of clips. I found the clips I needed on a stand close to the front door. I took my clips to the front counter to check out and that is where the problem began. I stood there for a good 8 minutes in front of 5 employees. Three (men) were on the phone when I got there, 1 (woman) was talking to one about a part location, and 1 (man) appeared to maybe be a parts driver. All 3 men finished their phone conversations. 1 took the next call, 2 went about doing other things. I waited about 8 minutes (no exaggeration) and not a single person acknowledged my presence. If just one person would have acknowled me and let me know they would be with me as soon as they finished something I would have been ok. But nothing. What really got to me was that despite me standing there, the phone got answered. I really considered calling to get their attention, but I just decided that would be my first and last experience. I ended up over at Pep Boys and before I could get to the register with my package of clips (1/2 the price too), a person behind the counter tracked me down and asked me if I needed help.
