Big 5 always has something thats not quite right. I went looking for a knife - they had the aluminum handle but not the lighter, gripper plastic. I wanted a cooler - they had one thats 19.99 at target for $35. I wanted a rash guard - they had XL and L but no S. I keep trying though!

Its small but it has everything Ive ever needed. Not something special to get five stars but with its limited space it has an above average stock. The space also makes it easy to get in and out because youre not exploring a warehouse to find athletic tape or whatnot.

The kid working the shoe section was super helpful. Helped me find a cheap pair of cleans for my Sunday baseball league. Has decent selection of gear, at good prices. Be sure to sign up for their email newsletter for more coupons. Easy parking as well.

Huge space: previously was Nordstroms. Wide variety of activities, any sport you could think of. Much of the quality would be entry level, like bicycles or camping gear. Athletic clothing is MSRP; discount racks are few and discounts are not generous.

Everything I wanted to buy was there and at a good price. Staff were helpful too. No lines and easy. I guess parking options were limited but I drive a motorbike so no problem for me.

This store is fine, they have a very good selection and good prices specially for the shoes. Service is OK, staff are nice although they need more people when the store is crowded.
