The DREAM TEAM! I want to set the record straight. If you go to this Pep Boys ask for Daniel or Trevor for assistance and ask that William work on your vehicle. You will not be sorry! Heres my scenario..... I flew from Seattle to LA to pick up a 1985 Toyota DLX 4x4 that i had purchased online. About two hours into my journey 40 miles outside of Fresno I went over a bump and lost ALL POWER to my new truck. I was beside myself. I called my wife, AAA, and Pep Boys in Fresno where I spoke with Daniel. I told hime the situation, and what I though was wrong with the vehicle and asked if he could help. He told me to tow the truck in and they would get on it as fast as possible. Unfortunately by the time I got to Pep Boys they were closing in 45 minutes and told me they probably would not get to work on my vehicle tonight. Totally understandable! Hey life happens. I left my truck with them and got a hotel room for the night. The nest day I went back to Pep Boys around 10:15am. Trevor told me exactly what was up with my truck. They were on it, and that I should be back on the road with in the hour. He quoted me a estimate of $150.oo for parts and labor. That sounded more than fair to me. They finished up with the truck in about an hour and for $25.00 less than the estimate!!! Every employee I encountered at this Pep Boys was more than professional and helpful. They bent over backwards to get the job done fast and done right the first time. The fixed my truck faster than I could have imagined and for such little money. The only down side to this is that I live in Seattle and not in Fresno. So if you live in Fresno and need car work done hit up Pep Boys and ask Daniel or Trevor for assistance. And make sure you insist that William service your vehicle. Professional, Courteous, Helpful, and Fast. What more could you ask for from your DREAM TEAM?!

Last Wednesday, my car didnt start. Pep Boys said it was my starter. Paid over $470... Today, exactly ONE week later, Im back again. According to Pep Boys, they said that my battery is dead and my alternator is bad. I questioned them of how did they check last week if it was my starter. The guy explained to me that they FIRST check the battery, the alternator, and THEN the starter. I asked if they did check the battery and the alternator BEFORE the starter, why didnt they detect anything bad with my battery and alternator. They said that it was "good" during that time. Even tho I did NOT drive anywhere far nor did anything UNusual with it. Yes, I am confused that if they checked LAST week on my battery, alternator, and THEN my starter, why did they give me a starter first when Im NOW getting a new battery because they said that it was dead and now I have to purchase a new alternator. The guy says that he cannot give me my car information from last week because "its locked up" that only the managers in the morning can do that.

My son had taken his car to have his brake done. A couple months later as my son and his friend were on the freeway his rear tire came off while he was going at least 55mph getting ready to exit the freeway. The car came to a complete halt as the front slammed to the ground and sparks flew up while watching his tire go up the off ramp almost causing an accident with other vehicles exiting the freeway. The lugnuts were not put on correct. The wheel lock is what kept the wheel on for as long as it was. The rim around the wheel lock was worn out. Called pep boys. The manager said he would drive by my house to look at the car. Ive never heard of THAT before. Then never heard from him again with no resolution regarding the fact that my son and his friends" life were in danger with terrible workmanship

At first I really liked pep boys and would go for routine maintenance on my car. They were good to me for about 2 years. Then they messed up a lot. I took my car in to get my fuses replaced which they did a good job on. But when they were finished they brought me a electronic box and said, "we dont know what this is." I found out later that they removed my cruise control computer! I could no longer use cruise control. I also got my brakes pads replaced. But they put the wheel back on wrong and my wheel flew off my car while I was on the freeway! It took weeks to get contact from the manager. They claimed it wasnt their fault and did nothing to fix my car. I do not recommend this Pep Boys ever.

Been a loyal customer the last few years... came to this location because another one screwed me up last time and put synthetic oil instead of conventional oil. Came here for another oil change and the guy who took my information and my keys didnt bother to give me a quote for service. When he rang me up asked me if I had a coupon, I didnt bring it so I started looking through my email. I couldnt find it so he just charged me, didnt bother to tell me how much it was and didnt even bother to look me up in the system. I wouldnt come here again, I went from paying $20 for an oil change to $75.

My sister car water pump broken and she took her car to them and they told her it would cause $400 dollar to fix. They told her the car water pump alone cost her 200 something dollar and other thing too and she call me and I told her no. So I when on youtube and they teach me how to fix it. I took the car old water pump to auto zone got the brand new water pump for 50 dollar with life time warranty and got it fix myself in 30min. If there not try to rip her then why would they told her car water pump cause 200 dollar? fyi she drive a 2001 Toyota corolla type s and she know nothing about car

A/C switch needed replacement. I was told this by the mechanic when he looked at the car, but didnt tell me I needed to take it to the dealer until he charged $90.00. To check it. Only the dealer can program this new switch. But the good thing is after talking to the Mgr about the mechanic knowing the car, that the dealer was the only company who could fix it - the mechanic should have told me to take it to the dealer and save $90.00 But the Mgr understood the problem and removed the $90.00 charge. The Mgr s name was Raul "thank you" Raul"

These guys suck! I took my motor mounts to get fixed by these guys (which was covered by my cars warranty company) and they said the motor mounts did not need fixing. A month later, my check engine light comes on and it turned out that indeed the motor mounts were broke. Also I called my warranty company after I left pep boys and they told me that they dont reccommend Pepboys because their system cannot accept the payment from the warranty company. Like, really did Pepboys lie just because my warranty couldnt pay them?
