Weve bought furniture twice from Furniture City. The first time was last year when we bought our bedroom set. Very expensive and heavy furniture. Theyve delivered and set it up for us. Because our bedroom was upstairs they had to drag the boxes upstairs which got our carpet dirty and they put a few dents and dings in my wall. The guy they have that goes around and does the cleaning and repairs came over and took a look at it. He had someone come and clean our carpets and said he was going to come back and patch up the dents and dings in our walls and repaint them. We even showed him we had extra paint left in the garage. Never did he return to patch up the wall and repaint it. Called it him many times and said he would call back, but never did. We dont have time to deal with people like this. So, I ended up fixing them myself. A few months ago, we ordered a coffee table and sofa table. Since we were picking them up ourselves we knew we didnt have to worry about delivery guys breaking stuff in our home. The sales guy told us the pieces were on back order and should be there in a month because they were stuck at the dock. We ended up waiting almost 4 months. What a disappointment. Even though they were brand new in boxes they came with dents and dings on them. We called Furniture City because we were unhappy we had to pay full price for furniture in used condition. We told them we wanted a refund. The lady told us we had to go through the guy that does the repairs first. SMH. I mean what was he giong to do? Patch up the dents and dings on our brand new furniture? Thats like paying full price on used furniture. They scheduled for him to coming the following Wednesday, but we told him that no one was going to be home after 12 pm. The lady told us they would put us on his first route that day for 11 am. Didnt even hear from him til 12:30 pm when he called to ask for direction. Said he was going to call back and reschedule since no one was home. I called him a few times after that to reschedule and he said he would check his schedule and call me back, but never once did he call back. Called him again and left a message, but still no response. How can they keep someone who has bad work ethics like this? He makes their company look bad. I would fire him in a heart beat! We have spent thousands of dollars at Furniture City, but we will no longer do business with them again! I will be spreading the word to my friends and families to not shop there either!

5 star Con-Artist!!!!!!!!Must read!!!!after the 5 weeks of waiting,this was terrible, the sales person his name is MJ ordered the wrong bedroom set insisted it was the one I picked and hung up on me after delivery , after waiting a week a Manager finally FaceTimed me to confirm it was the wrong set, his employee lied a lot... but the salesperson(MJ) rather than saying he ordered the complete wrong set in an attempt to save his tail lied and said the only thing incorrect on the order was the headboard and footboard, the definitive factor was my set had drawers on the footboard, so they came back two weeks later only bringing a new footboard and they forgot the correct headboard anyways to find the bed rails would not be compatible with the footboard with drawers They brought ,I told them on the phone weeks in advance the rails dont fit, all I wanted was my money refund and they said they would charge me 400$ restocking fee for them placing the wrong order and incorrectly delivering it multiple times,(look in the box before you drive an hr away) and 12 weeks later the set is almost paid off and I still dont have it.. all the mangers did was try to sound like theyre making special deliveries an hr out of the way, theres nothing special about waiting 5weeks to be disappointed and then waiting another 2weeks for the same result,then another two weeks and so on... so be weary furniture city is straight run by slime balls. They are out to ruin your order for months on end in hopes of you wanting a refund and eating there ridiculously small print "restock fee", they dont ever have in stock anyway...I wish I could charge them a 4x wrong and 15 weeks late waiting delivery fee of 30% ...so sad I had to rate them 1 star so i just gave them 5 and put them on blast, they are garbage....furniture city is a scam to literally rob honest hard working people. I hope anti trump protestors loot and pillage that terrible place.

Very unprofessional customer service. Upon ordering a couch from Furniture City I was informed that I would receive my purchase in 6-8 weeks (at which point I would also receive my first fee). As the end of the 8th week rolled around I called to inquire if my couch was ready to be picked up. The salesman told me that it had not arrived yet but should arrive by next week and that they would call me Monday with an update. I received no call on Monday, waited until the end of the week (as the salesman advised it could arrive anytime in the week), and called again. The salesman gave me the same advise, stating that the couch would arrive by Wednesday but if it didnt it would definitely be in by Friday. He advised they would call Wednesday with an update. Friday rolls around again and NO CALL is received at all. Called in Saturday and for a third time, they have advised that my couch has not arrived yet but should be in this week and that they will call me. At this point I let the woman know of my frustration at receiving no calls when I was advised I would and at receiving inaccurate predictions of when my couch would arrive. It would be nice to be notified if there is a delay with my purchase. She apologized and told me she would make a note in their system to call both numbers I have listed today, Monday 10/7/2013, with an update. Im very doubtful Ill receive any sort of phone call today or this week. Purchase is 3 weeks LATE with NO UPDATES received by Furniture City. Unacceptable customer service In addition, the salesman LIED when he advised I would not received any sort of bill until my couch arrived. I received my first bill by mail immediately and have now paid 3 months worth for a couch I have not received or have any accurate update on when it will be received.

Gurleen Dadraha I am going to start off by saying this place is a scam and the employees that work here are shady. I went to buy in sofa set and they were trying to get rid of that sofa set because of one of their salesman had ordered the wrong color for another client.This was light golden in color, I ordered two pieces, they had to order another piece for me. I was told by the salesman that if my husband didnt like the color I can still cancel the Order within One day. I went in next day with my husband, he didnt like the sofa , so I requested another salesperson to cancel, I was told they stopped the delivery on second piece. In order for me to cancel I would have to talk to jay and jay was off that day. I even requested to talk to a manager and was told that he was busy. I called next day to talk to jay but kept getting run around. This happened several times so I finally decided to file a dispute with my credit card company. Shame on them, they are telling my credit card company that I can cancel but with a 25% restocking fee when Ididnt even get anything delivered. They are just after your money and not to mention Jay refused that he even promised me anything like that. I have spent enormous amount of time dealing with cancelling issues. I talked to my co workers about this issue and they said they have heard shady stuff about this furniture store. I am wondering if they are paying someone to write good reviews for them because all their reviews on Yelp are negative, really ironic. They just want free money by charging me all these fees.i dont see them lasting longer in business if they keep on doing shady stuff like this. Wow and I posted this yesterday and was deleted.
